Very Durable, Great for Kids
I bought this as an activity school work desk for my 3 kids. It is heavy, durable and was delivered in perfect condition. It is that classic table you see in classrooms/church. My toddlers have had many spills already and it just wipes right up. It took my husband about 40 mins to put together with a drill. My only regret is that I wish I got a bigger size! I feel like it will last forever!

Very Nice, Sturdy Table, HOWEVER,....
This is a very nice, sturdy table, however I am only giving it 4 stars because of the following...1. It was poorly packaged and delivered! The box was barely covering the table because it was so torn up and the Styrofoam wrapping that was supposed to be around the edge of the table (protecting it from scuffs) was coming off. Also, I found the "support bar" for the table lying in my yard! I'm assuming it fell out of the box in route to my doorstep, as the box was in super bad shape. Due to the nature of the box, the screws for the support bar were missing. But, this was not a problem as we had some screws on hand to replace them. Other than a few scuff marks on the rubber edging of the table and a small nick in the table top's corner, the table survived the shipping, showing it really is a sturdy table.2. The legs for the table arrived in good condition, although I did have to hammer out the corners of 2 of the "brackets" as they were bent. This wasn't a big deal and it did not affect the sturdiness of the legs or the table. Please note that the legs and hardware ship separately from the table top and support bar.3. The directions tell you that all you need to assemble the table is a screwdriver. This is completely false! I don't know how you would do that without any pre-drilled holes! (I tried it!) So, please note that you will need a drill to assemble this table. There are stickers on the table that serve as a guide in where to place the hardware / legs for drilling. One negative is that the stickers are on both sides of table. (This gives the customer the option for a red table top or a yellow table top, which is nice if you want that option). After deciding your table top's color, however, you have these stickers to pull off (the side that you want to use) and they're tough to remove and leave behind a sticky residue. I'm still trying to get rid of it!The Bottom Line: It's a very nice, heavy, sturdy table; not shipped in perfect condition, but survived with just a few scuffs & a small nick because of its durability; and needs some "man-power" (drilling of holes) for assembly.

Great, strong, durable table...perfect to use for my home computer desk work area!!!!
I was looking for a new desk but all the pre-made desks all have forms with nooks and spaces that just didn't work for me. I have seen some who build desks from a dining room table and add things/storage devices to the top to customize a desk to what they need. I was almost gonna go that route when I came across this activity table. Note the table is really made for what it's called Activity / school type environments but I figured it's a flat table, very colorful at that, sturdy and fits the size I need. I was sold on that plus the fact that this table is much less expensive than a sturdy dining room table of comparable size. When the table arrived it was bigger in person than I had imagined, but was perfect size for what was to be my work/play space. Unpacking the unit I found it comes in Red on one side and Yellow on the other. So, if you fancy yellow, you can do yellow, red, go red. One thing to note though is that you have to manually drill holes into whichever side is going to be the bottom in order to mount the legs. I was kinda peeved at having to do this drilling, but I guess I can see why they didn't drill because it gives the owner a chance to pick the color first before the holes are drilled. Once you drill the holes, that side will pretty much stay the bottom of the table forever. As for the legs, very strong steel tubing with adjustable posts that allows you to set the height to whatever your needs are within reason.Once I set this up, set up all my computer gear and monitors, even a pull out keyboard/mouse tray (can't put a pull out keyboard on some dining room tables or even desk systems at that) I was very happy I choose this table to create my desk system with.I would highly recommend this table for either activities or as in my case, making a desk out of it. The surface is very durable as it's original purpose was build for activities/crafts so scratching shouldn't be an issue at all. What are you waiting for...go buy one already ;)
