Works great on the Mercedes W221. Hiccups at times. But good overall.

ViseeO Tune2Air worked great on Mercedes-Benz GL450
A couple weeks ago I bought a Mercedes-Benz GL450 and I was really exited to take it on a family road trip. After a few days, I was disappointed to find out that Mercedes had omitted one of the most essential entertainment features in modern cars. I'm talking about, of course, Bluetooth streaming. At first I tried to read through the owner's manual to see if I was, perhaps, wrong. But no, the navigation unit of the Mercedes-Benz GL450 does not offer Bluetooth streaming only Bluetooth calls. After researching on the web different ways to add Bluetooth streaming to my car I decided to go with the ViseeO Tune2Air mainly because it had moderately good reviews here on Amazon and the price wasn't terribly bad. So, after a few weeks of having the ViseeO Tune2Air installed on my Mercedes this is what I found out.First, the ViseeO works great on the Mercedes head unit and there are no compatibility or sound issues whatsoever. The sound is very solid with no static or connection issues. I tried the ViseeO with multiple devices, (iphone 7+, ipad air, ipad pro, samsung galaxy s7, samung galaxy note 5) and all of them seem to be completely compatible with the viseeo with no connection issues. After the first pairing process the ViseeO auto connects to same device. Another thing that I also noticed is that there is no need to charge the ViseeO as it gets its power from the car. Just plug it in and forget about it.Okay, so, on to the issues. The most annoying issue that I encountered was that it was a little difficult to do the initial installation. At first I tried to pair it to my iphone 7 but for some reason none of my apps would work including Spotify, pandora, or even apple music. So this is how I was able to pair the ViseeO to my iPhone 7+. After searching through the web I found out that you need to have at least one song on your music collection downloaded on your iphone in order for the ViseeO to recognize your phone. So I just bought a song from itunes and the ViseeO finally recognized my iphone 7+. To do the initial pairing process first you plug in the ViseeO into the port usually located in the glove box, then with the radio off you turn on car to auxiliary mode (power to radio only), you then turn on the Bluetooth on your phone and select Tune2Air, input the passcode 0000, and finally turn on the car and radio and your phone should be paired and recognized by the ViseeO. After this first pairing process, any device previously connected should re-connect automatically. When I was looking at the reviews a few weeks ago I saw that there were a lot of people with Audi vehicles complaining about this device not working for them so I was really skeptical about it. But for everyone else out there who has a Mercedes my guess is that it will probably work great on your car.

Works Well with Android BUT ...
you are going to have to do some work. This is a preliminary review and I will add to it and post pics shortly but I wanted to post this so you won't have to go sit in your car at 2 a.m. testing theories like I did. Now, the "easy" way would be to get an old iPod from somewhere and voilá! you'd be in business. However, I ride for Samsung so this review is for my fellow Fandroids LOL. I'm using a Note 8 in a 2010 Audi Q5.Let's get to it:1. Disregard the info that says what "will" appear on the screen or what "should" pop-up upon connection.2. Understand that because this Bluetooth Car Adapter wasn't made for Android, it will play your music but it won't read the attached data i.e., playlists, song title, artist, etc. and3. You have to tell the Bovee where to play your music from or else it seems to pick a folder arbitrarily.Once I figured out the things above, I created folders and named them the same thing as my playlists. I put the new playlist/folder(s) IN the main Music folder in the music player on my phone. Now, all you have to do is drag and drop your songs into the proper folders. Right before you actually move your music, you're going to want to standardize the song titles/put them in the order you want them to play. More about that below. In the car, sync your Android to the Bovee. Mine came up as Tune2Air and synced like any other bluetooth device. Now, on your phone, go to your main Music folder where you put your playlist/folders and make it your Default folder. (This is you telling Bovee where to play music from.) Pick a playlist/folder and play a song. Now you can FINALLY use the controls on the steering wheel. You will see from top to bottom, "^Folder,Prev,Prev,Next,Next" Because my drive to work is short LOL, I didn't get to test selecting the ^Folder to see if it took me to the previous playlist/folder. The 1st Prev takes you the previous song (or the last song if you're on the first one) and the 2nd Prev go to the beginning of the song. Both Next's seem to take you to the next song (or the first song if you're on the last one). There is no shuffle option on the screen. This is why I said above to put the songs in the order you want in the folder because if you choose shuffle on your phone, you won't see the name of the song on the display. So, even if you skip a song you won't know what's going to play next until you hear it.That's all I got for now 🤔I had to work for it but so far so good. Once I adjusted to the motions, I was able to FF and ReW through my folder easy enough. It's also worth it because listening to the crap on the radio made me suicidal and Sirius is nice but there's nothing like your own tried and true playlists.More to come ...
