Farm Gloves
I live on a farm and use this type of glove for EVERYTHING! They are nimble and easy to work with and give me just enough protection whether I'm stoking the woodstove or doing any kind of hand labor. Love them! And, this company sent them promptly. We're giving a pair to a friend in hopes she like them as much as we do and will become a customer! I also like that they were packaged in tons of wasteful packaging. That was a very thoughtful decision on the company's part and I really appreciate it!

Buy 2 pair, get 1 usable pair
I have been buying Plainsman gloves for well over 10 years. Over the past year I notice the sizing/quality control is not consistent in the pairing. One pair had one glove smaller that the other glove. One pair was sewn crooked. I purchased 2 pairs so we were able to get one good pair out of two. I am disappointed and will not order again. I don’t know what’s happened to quality control but it’s certainly not doing it’s job. These are lightweight comfortable gloves when they fit, This is the second time this has happened. Buying 4 pair and getting only 2 usable pairs make these gloves too expensive.

Strong but flexible; allows for dexterity
My neighbor recommended these, and they are great gloves. I can't see ever buying another brand. These are strong (I work with blackberry and roses a lot), but they are flexible enough that I can do tasks that require dexterity. Great fit, too. And very good value for the price.

Like 'em
I've always liked these gloves. I've worn out several pairs from extreme use. Couldn't find any to replace my worn out pairsFound them on Amazon. I'm back in business. I like them because they are not padded. That's important when you are grinding or doing wood, or metal work. No splinters and no burns from friction heat while grinding. Good protection. I also use them on the tractor. Keep your hands from being chewed up.

Soft and Great for Most Uses
They are not good for working with barb wire or rough bark on wood, they wear out too quick, but for general use they are very comfortable and you can pick up things, etc. without taking them off.

Fine fit, pick up a dime.
The fit so well and I can prune my roses and blackberries with them and never get a poke. I have some thicker gloves but they aren’t as good a protection. I wish the finger tips would last longer but I’m fairly hard on them. I cut down an eight foot blackberry bush and no blood. Amazing.

Quality gloves
Heavy duty but still lightweight. Very soft and flexible for leather. Good for yard work- planting - digging- weeding
