The picture depicts a maroon, loose-fitting, long-hanging tank top. It hangs down almost to the crotch in the front, and it covers almost the whole butt. What did I receive in real life? A fire engine red, tight-fitting tank top that's maybe half a smidgen longer than normal length. If you're about 5'3" and 110 pounds or less, this MIGHT fit like it does in the picture. Mid-sized people - it will be waist-length and have about a centimeter of wiggle room around the stomach. Tall people: STAY FAR AWAY. Sisters, I know we're used to things being shorter than expected, but if you're looking for something that isn't clingy and that hangs down lower than normal... keep looking. The fabric feels coarse and crisp, like burlap. If you look closely, it's woven so that it looks almost like it's super-narrowly ribbed. Not smooth like t-shirt fabric. But the most grievous offense is the color misrepresentation. I dare you to tell me the monstrosity in my picture looks like what the model is wearing. I never would have bought it if I knew it was the exact color of a stop sign. I understand that you get what you pay for, and I could accept the cheap quality if it fit somewhat like it does on the model and had the darker, more burgundy-ish, more burnished red we see here. I've only been so offended by an inaccurate description that I wrote another review one other time in my 900-year history on Amazon, so if that means anything to anyone... drop your credit card, back slowly away from this listing, and move on.

Returning and won't be buying clothes on Amazon anymore. This happens more than 50% of the time. Sellers can lie about their products and Amazon does nothing. I'm tired of having to return stuff. Bad enough that you have to return because of fit. I purchased the "neon blue" which is a cheap 50 poly/50 cotton turquoise color. Skimpy cut, too. Just garbage. Seller requires boxing (came in envelope) and paying for return shipping even though they lied about the product.

This is a good shirt for the price I guess, there were a few things that were off but still alright. The cotton it is made out of is very ruff and not soft or airy and also it was slightly too big on me and I am 5’ 3” and 103lb.

I bought a couple of these shirts in different colors and have been very pleased with them so far, primarily for the reason that they're made of a sturdy, comfortable fabric that isn't see-through and doesn't wrinkle like crazy (I'm looking at you, jersey tank tops). I use them for sleeping, working out, and just casual everyday wear. They do run very slightly on the large side. I'm 5'5" and 120 pounds and got a small and while I think it is a nice compromise, I can see how some might feel it's a little baggy--especially if your chest is a bit flatter. For me, it fits close enough to give me some shape but is blousy enough around the hips and stomach that it doesn't cling or ride up while I'm working out. In a nutshell, it's flattering without looking like you're trying too hard to hide anything, either. It is longer than most shirts and with the curved hemline, but does not cover the butt all the way, so if you're looking for a tunic-length that you can wear with leggings and still keep the assets under wraps, you'll want to keep looking.

I bought three of these in XL, neon pink, neon blue, and royal. The two neons are a cotton/poly blend, the royal is all cotton. I'm a size 12 and wear an L in tops unless I want it loose fitting or it looks like it will shrink. All 3 seemed on the large side before washing, especially the pink. After washing they royal was perfect, the neon blue was a good fit but the pink was still large. I tacked up the shoulders a bit and it's wearable for my purpose, something comfortable for walking or exercise videos. Based on these three I'd say if you're a size L, don't go up. If you're between sizes don't go up on the pink, and you probably don't have to on the royal and neon blue. Btw, these washed up very nicely, there was no twisting in the fabric and the colors didn't run. They are a very soft, supple cotton and to the touch, I can't tell the blend from the pure cotton. I'll buy these again without hesitation.

Because of my arthritis bought a size larger to go over my head. Roomy but really comfortable 100% cotton. Because of the high back they stay up on my bony shoulders. Nice to wear alone or layered. Attractive color choices. Good price. Bought several colors. Will buy again.

These have beautiful colors that don't fade. The material is cotton and feels/looks like the heather colored athletic type shirts. I like that it dips in at the waist and flares out just a little. It gives me a nice looking shape. Especially being chubby. It doesn't show my stomach fat at all. The price for what you get is absolutely excellent!

Love these tanks, I have them in five different colors now. The thing I love is that they have enough room in the hip area. I am 5'4" and weigh 132, and I got a large, which is perfect. These tops are the best kept Amazon secret ever. They are fabulous quality and at this price you cannot lose. And if I have an outfit where I need more flare, I just order up one size. The armholes aren't huge, so this works out perfectly.

I like the shirt over all. Just wish it wasn't so see through. The material should be thicker.
