Love is a many splintered thing, or so Seth Winnick ("3rd Rock from the Sun's" French Stewart) soonlearns when he gets involved with the beautiful Chelsea Turner (Bridgette Wilson). She seems like the perfect woman: sexy, fun and willing to please him any way she can. But Chelsea's biological clock is on overdrive and she aims to trap Seth into marriage. When their tumultuous relationship gets downright psychotic, it's clear that the pair will never walk down the aisle, or will they? The battle of the sexes that ensues will leave you guessing, but either way it'll be a fight to the finish. With hilarious over-the-top performances, including supermodel Tyra Banks and MTV's Bill Billamy as the couple's happily married friends, this un-romantic comedy makes Fatal Attraction seem like Bambi.

The resolution is kind of low, but you will love it. I could totally relate to this movie!

Funny Crazy
Entertaining roller coaster of love glides over a treacherous track toward marriage in this zany romantic comedy. Great casting and performances of a funny script that demonstrates how Love Stinks.

Grrreat film!! I missed this when it was released in theaters. So glad that could find this as a gift for someone who says it is their favorite movie. So so funny. Highly recommend this

Painfully Funny
The almost uniformly bad reviews of this movie by professional critics contrast sharply with mostly favorable reviews by customers. One wonders if some of the professional reviews were disingenuous, because a public thumbs up to Love Stinks might have required some explaining at home. The film is rude, abrasive, un-PC, and very funny.It is the nature of modern romance that nearly every one of us has been involved with at least one psycho. The world is full of them and they come in both sexes: stalkers, vengeance-seekers, clingers, users, manipulators, and abusers of all types. They often are seductive (which is how they rope you in) and the final break-ups with them can be horrendous. The psycho in this case is a woman, so no doubt it is easier for men to relate to and laugh at this movie, though the gender response, judging by other reviews, obviously is far from uniform either way. There is a lot of pain and cruelty in this film, but pain and cruelty, handled properly, are the meat of all humor. This is not as nasty as it sounds; humor is the way we best deal with such things. Love Stinks provides plenty of protein.

poor quality
The movie itself is terrific but the quality on amazon prime is horrible.. the video is dark and the audio is horrible, I have to turn my soundbar way up to even hear it.. the quality of the overall movie is less then 240p. I don't understand why the quality is so crappy

Very Funny!
All I can say is if you've had the unfortunate experience of dating a loony toon, you can totally relate to this movie. The only reason I can see people being upset over this movie, is if they are the ones who have done the psychotic things the crazy girlfriend did....or have thought about doing them. I'm a woman. I'm very defensive about movies that put women down. This is a comedy people! I have seen so many of this "type of woman" (I live in California...and OMG yes they exist!) and I am so glad this movie was made. I bought copies for all of my friends (male and female) who are dating someone I would consider...."close to psycho," or OMG "someone they really should NOT marry, much less continue a relationship with!" It's a funny movie, but a good hint/nudge...if they are bright enough to "get it."

Funniest Movie I'd Never Heard Of
Wow - what a happy surprise. I'd never heard of this movie but Amazon recommended based on my viewing. This movie is from 1999 and even has Jason Bateman in it - I didn't even recognize him at first. I laughed throughout and it even had an ending I wasn't expecting.
