Mixed Bump Dots, Mixed Sizes and Colors - 80 Count

I have RP and am legally blind. I had no idea what I was getting when I ordered these. They are amazing and so helpful! The round bumps are balls cut in half and there are other shapes, too. I'm colorblind so the colors make no difference to me at this point. However, putting the bumps on certain numbers and functions on the keypads on the kitchen appliances have cut out a lot of stress in my daily life! I use a big square on the stop button on the microwave and round bumps on some of the numbers. For the refrigerator, I just needed bumps on the cubes and the water buttons. For the oven there are bumps on the start and set buttons. Big square on stop/cancel. Then I took a flatter square, cut it diagonally and used those as up and down arrows for increasing and decreasing the oven temperature! All the bumps stuck onto the keypads with no problems and are holding fine. I love these and highly recommend them to anyone with low vision!

Great item for blind individuals. I bought these for a blind friend of mine so she could identify "digital" operated appliances. Worked great.I have even found a use for them for myself. TV remote control without the lights on? Find a button quickly with an affixed bump dot.

Having been blind for a long time now you'd imagine I'd have figured out how amazing these things are a long time ago. No, instead I did things the hard way forever and didn't even think about something like this.After reading what some geniuses did in their reviews I knew I had to have these gems. Turns out they are really worth their weight in gold in my case. I use them to identify on and off buttons on things like a stove that only has those stupid flat panel things, I've used them to identify some buttons on remote controls and all kinds of other things.I have all of the cycles and everything on my washer and dryer labeled in braille, but since I use the same cycles 99.99% of the time I just dropped these on my default action and it's just so much easier for me now.I still have a ton of them left too - I thought it wasn't going to be enough but the truth is you don't need a whole lot of them at one time.I keep finding different uses for them and I'm sure I'll find a million more things I want a bump or 2 on, but this is really what I consider the ultimate solution for soooooooo many things.

I bought these sticky bumps for my nearly blind elderly father not only because he's not able to see very well, but also because his thumbs and fingers don't feel things very well anymore. By putting these bumps on his remote telephone in his home, he can now feel where the talk and off buttons are. I also really liked that they came in a variety of sizes and colors. We started putting bumps all over the place wherever he needed them. The only bad thing about these is that they don't stick to all surfaces. For example, on his remote control for the television, he can't see to find the mute button. When I tried to put a sticky bump on the mute button, it would not stick. I even tried putting a dot of super glue under it and it still wouldn't stick.

Purchased for my elderly mom with sight issues. Like that you get a variety of sizes, but not sure how well they will stick. I received others from the Eye Institute and they seemed to have better staying power.

These simple bumps are a must for low vision folks. I bought these for my mom who has advanced Macular Degeneration. I have used these so far as follows: her cordless telephone handsets hangup buttons, her microwave 30 second cook & clear buttons, her washing machine on/off buttons and dryer buttons. These are great. My 86 year old mom couldn't see the hangup button on her phones before & was leaving her phone on all the time. I would have to drive over to the retirement home and reset these at least 3 or 4 times a week. Instead of being worried when I couldn't reach her, we have now eliminated that problem. She has no trouble feeling the bump dot and pressing it to hang up the phone. They have stayed on all her 4 handsets with no slippage or falling off. She only uses her microwave 30 second button and the clear button so presto, now she can use the microwave again! Washer/Dryer same thing. I've preset her machine to warm/light load and she can use that too. I'm going to get a second set as I know there are more things that I can use these for. I recommend to anyone who is trying to help someone with limited sight as using these has made a big difference for us (her) already.

This product has been great to use with my residents. Specifically, on their microwaves within an assisted living facility. Shipping was timely and I would purchase again!

THese bump dots came promptly and were well-packaged. They care in a variety of shapes and sizes and seem to stick well to appliances and other products. Great product.
