Ultracraft Snap Ring Pliers Set -5 Piece

Wow, these things are so not easy to use. The various pieces don't secure to the handle, you have to be sure to hold them onto the handle while trying to use them to remove the ring.Should be one star for how they have to be hand held together for them to work but three stars because they actually do work and for the price with multiple rings available for use I would probably buy again because I use them maybe 2-3 times a year. So for me, they were worth the price.

The one star is only because no stars are not allowed. These snap ring pliers are absolute light weight garbage. I would return them, but I completely destroyed them trying to remove a single 2.5 inch snap ring. The first time I've been disappointed in an Amazon purchase in a very long time.

Interchangeable makes all the parts have play. Not strong to begin with. Tiny spring lets parts move around or slip off pegs. Similar sets at ACE Hardware for under five dollars.

I used them 1 time, couldn't get the job done because of the odd ball pivot screw. I threw them out rather than deal with the returns process. I now need to wait 2 days to work on my Jeep for 2 days until the better pair arrives. Live and learn, cheap tools hardly ever pay off.

It worked...sorta. The quality of this product is crap. Broke it the second time using it disassembling a AC compressor. If your thinking about buying this...dont. invest in better quality snap ring pliers. I had to.

OMG, If you can get the interchangeable heads to stay on the handle, the nibs are to short to get a good enough hold on the snap ring to expand it in order to remove it. Chinese tools....

This is very convienient for my needs and it is very durable.The mechanism that keeps it on should be better. I used a bread tie to keep it together.

When using these pliers, I was unable to grab any rings. As soon as I got to 50% of opening the heads would collapse. I tried to hold them in place with my other hand, but then the head would slip off the handle and pinch my fingers. I was expecting a little more from them. Very disappointed.

For the the price they're great. If you're expecting snap-on quality you'll be disappointed. The 4 interchangeable tips are great but have a bit of play and sloppiness when on the tool so in a tight space that can be frustrating. Overall a good buy at the price.

It 0 words exactly as expected kids like the one I purchased from Canadian tire many years ago.

As described, good value for money and no nasty surprises.

Cheap,don't waste your money!

Have not used yet. Appear to be of decent quality.
