I live in an area of USA with daily high air pollution. I especially know this because I spent 3 years living on L.I. NEW YORK which is close to Atlantic Ocean & L.I.Sound. After I relocated to California I would visit Nassau & Suffolk Counties on L.I. for 1 month. Notice air quality difference from Mid Valley, California. I checked the Local Newsppapers of both locals in N.Y & CA. The AIR QUALITY Numbers were significantly higher & more UNHEALTHY in my area of CA. So I made it a routine practice to purchase. In home air filters. Discovthat Most effective was Filtrete. Before Amazon, purchases were at local hardware stores. Now I purchase FILTRETE MOST EFFECTIVE FILTERS only from Amazon. Easy, efficient orders & delivery, especially as I age. FILTRETE PROVIDES FOR GOOD RESPIRATORY HEALTH IN MY OPINION.

I have always loved these filters. But for some reason they do not make a 19.5×19.6.. I have to master cut two sides of the 20×20 to make them fit my intake. I do NOT recommend doing this, but since I have master had skills, I choose to do it because I do not like the cheaper size that does fit. I also noticed they no longer include the paper insert, they want to save money on the paper but do not pass on the savings to us. Yes, I need to change my filter now, time to cut and tape another one lol..

I love these filters. Considering the shortage that occurred during the pandemic, I am glad to have been able to receive these and at a price I could afford. Thank you!

I’m no air quality expert but these seem to catch more dirt and look much dirtier when I change them than the others I’ve used. I’m assuming that’s because they work better. Please correct me if I’m wrong 🙂

Helps trap mold, pollen particles so they don’t circulate through your home. If you suscribe to have it sent on a monthly basis, you will not forget to change your air filter.

I can’t find my downstairs size filters in any store. This is my favorite that I’ve tried so far.

Can't recommend the product the pressure drop was so big .45 in my case that it would cause the limit switch in the furnace to trigger meaning the burners would go off but the fan would stay on (safety feature) blowing cold air. Used a cheaper filter Merv 8 and the pressure drop was only .25 and no issues with the switch being triggered, if you're getting these high end filters make sure your furnace can handle the pressure drop increase also these filters just makes your furnace work harder (more energy) to circulate air.

I have purchased the filters to remove smoke particles and odor from forest fire smoke blown into our area. The filters work as expected and remove smoke in the house. I was very satisfied with their performance. Fortunately, the smoke was blown into our area only for a period of a few days, so my filter test has been rather short.

These are just about the highest quality furnace filters on the market, and the price is better than ANY STORE. Walmart, or CanTire included. Awesome things. Spending extra money for high quality filters saves your health, and you will notice that dusting almost becomes unnecessary. They're that good!

its a happy medium between small particles getting captured and using a even higher MPR that basically blocks your air flow completely and makes your furnace work way harder to push air through. for people with allergies like myself it works amazing, our ducts stay cleaner as a result and as long as you change it regularly you will get all the benefits of it.

I was a little worry about the shipping damage when I ordered furnace filters online.They came well packed in factory box of two filters. Perfect for my furnace and good price.
