Ease of installation and operation
For years I’ve used Velcro straps to hold rods, this product are by far the best for hold down. Hopefully they will last for years to come.

It works!!
I like it very much and been wanting some for a long time but didn’t know how hard they would be to install. Not hard at all, very simple. All you have to do is mark your hole( comes with a cut out pattern) and cut it. I used a multi-tool to cut mine, drill a hole for screws and screw it in. Make sure you have no wires on the other side of where you make your hole.

Drill with care
Was SO anxious to install this baby. It's clearly well made, has good instructions and delivered complete, but my situation didn't permit me to finish the install. My old Bass Cat has a conduit holding wires running right where I wanted to install the rod strap. I felt back inside the best I could and guestimated I had enough clearance. Drilled a pilot hole with a forster bit and there it was, the now cut conduit. Had I gone 1/2" lower, which would have been a better location, I absolutely would have cut important wires. Not good. So, check to make sure you have good clearance on your rig. As for me, I'm back to square one.

Measure twice, cut once.
Like the way it holds the rods in place. Very easy install once I got up the nerve to cut a hole in the deck.

They hold my rods very well
What they are supposed to do hold my fishing rods so they don’t fly out of the boat
