The Power of Daily Mass

This was not what i was hoping for. I needed something solidly grounded in bible to help someone go to daily mass. It didn't have much ponder material. Instead a lot of people's how they felt about daily mass experiences listed.

I went to daily Mass for over 30 years. I found this book a little superficial.

We spend our lives on a journey searching for truth, true love. The Eucharist is food for that journey. Bert captures how I feel about the Eucharist. This is the greatest love story.

I was expecting more.

Great book. Inspiring……..

This is an astounding, powerful book!I've been raised Catholic and have gone through Catholic Catechism school classes. I thought I had an "understanding" of the Mass, but this book has truly opened my eyes to the Glory and Love present in all Masses.The book is based on the formal, Roman Catholic Church teachings on the Mass, but interspersed with beautiful quotations from the Gospels, Saints and other, varied sources. Furthermore, the inclusion of quotes from "normal" daily mass-goers brings deep authenticity and practicality to the book.The comprehension and discussion questions at the end of each chapter work very well, ensuring that the reader really has absorbed the meaning of the written words and that the reader has a chance to fundamentally and uniquely respond to the written words.This book should be a must-read for all adult Catholics and, should be incorporated into child catechism programmes. I know I will be attempting to use the content of this book to convey the beauty and reality of the Mass to my own children.
