Sri C S Patel's book: Navamsa & Nadi Astrology, is a collection of his articles and has some very insightful articles. I found the following chapters very useful: Yoga-bhanga or Cancellation of Yogas, Uses of Sarvashtakavargas, Searchlight on Navamsa, Vimsottari Dasas, Retrogression of Planets, Conjunction of Planets in Transit.The unique feature of this book is that Sri Patel has managed to get access to rare manuscripts e.g. Chandrakala Nadi, Dhruva Nadi, Deva Keralam and other rare nadi texts from various museums / libraries and has quoted or cited verbatim from these Nadis. Thanks to this book, readers can now get a peek into these very ancient texts on Vedic Astrology which would otherwise not be available to the general public interested in astrology. This is the most valuable feature of this book. The book is a must reading for anyone deeply interested in Vedic Astrology and desirous of discovering new tools and methodologies of divining the life of a person.
