And I loved that behind his big, tattooed and dark exterior, there was also a fiercely protective, thoughtful, loyal and caring man. Even more, even though he lived a dangerous life, I loved that he still had very strong principles and was fiercely sticking to them. He’s magnificent and I loved him so much.Everything that happened between Pepper and Tony was fantastic. From the moment they met, their chemistry was undeniable and their romance was so passionate and deliciously kinky. I really loved their banters and teasing. Even more, I loved the moments when both shared stories with each other that no one else knew of. It was so incredible for two such lonely people to find so much happiness and passion together. But their road to happiness was not an easy one and both had to go through a lot. Nevertheless, Tony and Pepper were so perfect for each other and I couldn’t get enough of both of them.Overall, the story is another fantastic addition to the series. It’s filled with suspense, betrayal, twists, danger, humor, dangerous secrets, scorching hot romance and magnificent characters.I loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next!

I don't remember why I downloaded Ms. Rose's 1st book in this series. However, when I did it, I downloaded the entire series because the summary had me hooked. I am so glad I did, as this is so far my favorite! Tony has been my favorite character in this series. So I am overjoyed he got his own story. Tony is strong, loyal, and f$#&'n sexy as hell! This book had me all in my emotions.There is a sub story in this book I feel I need to warn the reader. If you have a history with sexual assault, that is a back story with the heroine. However, as I too have that in my history, I was pleased with how Ms. Rose wrote it. For me, it was hard but didn't trigger anything. I just feel the reader should be aware. Otherwise, great amazing love the story and will continue to read about Junior.

Pepper is tired. She has been on a tour and now is contracted to work at the Bellissimo. She is in the whole with them and needs to work it off. But her voice is shot and she has to resort to lip syncing. This is not her. Tony Brando is the security for Bellissimo and is charged with watching Pepper and what he sees he like a great deal. But this deal is not to his liking.I have to say when there two first meet, you can feel the loneliness each has. They fit together like a puzzle, perfection. Tony’s history of what happened when he was younger tugs at your heart. He loves his mother and cares deeply for any woman that is abused. You pretty much saw it in the first book. Pepper is being used by not only her so called manager Hugh but by her parents. At first, I pinned most on Hugh but her parents are also to blame. I feel like they all see her as a cash cow. This story goes deep and tugs at the heart. I love how Tony tried to not get involved with Pepper but was so drawn to her that he just couldn’t help it. The passion is off the charts with these two. I cried when certain events were revealed. I love this series. I look forward to “Joker’s Wild” when it comes out.

Everyone's favorite Bellisimo enforcer gets his HEA with a starlet. She's deeper than she seems with more baggage than she realizes. Beautifully broken meets the Guilt Guy. Tony seems to be punishing himself for things that arent his fault and you just want to shake him. Or maybe that's just me. Peppers entourage is a bunch of losers and her family is absent. They're both very lonely and find what they need in each other. It's a great story, well written and decent on the action.

The third book in the Vega Underground series, but it can be read as a stand;one. it features Tony and singer Pepper.Tony is a wonderful characters. He has a soft spot for women which he already showed in the previous books, but when he meets Pepper, his protective instincts go in overdrive.Pepper started out young, full of hope and energy, but has been pushed to hard and to far and now at 23 she is a burnt up unhappy singer. Her trust in people is mostly gone, but then this man she doesn’t even know takes care of her.I loved seeing them interact together and Tony was actually very sweet. He looks all gruff on the outside, but there is a loyal and caring man on the inside. I was cheering for them. This story made me laugh and it also steamed up my kindle.

I was actually a little surprised at how "light" this story was. Renee dulled the edges of the non-con elements of her other series (Zandians). Tony Brando is a mob enforcer and is tasked with leaning on Pepper Heart, a singer, to extract the money she and her band owe the Tacones because of her dirty manager. I must say that Tony is much more in touch with his emotions and feelings than I'm used to reading in Renee's stories, but it's not a bad thing. Pepper is also into the kinkier elements of sex Tony introduces her too. She was shocked at her first spanking, but not hurt and 110% on board after that. IMHO, there weren't any non-con elements at all, which is kinda unusual for a mafia romance, but not unwelcome. I felt that the H/h fit together really well and totally believed in the HEA.I can recommend this as a wonderful addition to the series!

Tony Brando, is Nico Tacone’s bodyguard infact they have known one another for years they went to school together in Chicago Tony has been associated with the Tacone mafia family after the Don ( Nico’s father ) gave Tony the means to sort out his abusive father and the Don also helped out with subsequent fallout that occurred after the event . He’s now Nico’s right hand man and enforcer at the Bellissimo hotel , he's also in charge of the day to day running of the hotel . His life is about to get a little more complicated ,when Pepper who’s a singer who is booked to perform at the Bellissimo to work off a debt owned to The Tacone family . Junior is head of the family business in Chicago , while their father is in jail and Hugh, Pepper’s manager has borrowed a substantial amount of money from the mafia to fund Peppers latest albums. Unfortunately the Album sales have not done well , now Junior is demanding that they settle the debt with Pepper performing at the hotel . There an instant attraction between Tony & Pepper and it’s not long before the two get together in the biblical sense , there’s a lot going on in her life apart from being in debt to the mafia she’s had laryngitis for days which is causing her to mime at her concerts ,it’s a matter that Hugh should have attended to . Actually Pepper is getting fed up, with her manager, so much so that Pepper fires him, but we will soon learn that Hugh is not a very nice person and his true colours are revealed . A series of dramatic events towards the end put Pepper's life in danger , can Tony keep her safe and more to the point will there be a future for this unlikely couple ? ❤️❤️.

Tony, the right hand man to Nico, the Mafia boss, is given the job of making sure that Pepper, a singer, pays her debt to the Tacone family by performing at the Bellissimo Hotel. Pepper is feisty and afraid of saying what she thinks and Tony respects her for this and finds himself attracted to her. The debt to the Mafia has been brought about by Pepper's manager through his questionable dealings which gives another angle to the story.Because the story seemed to have a bit more to it than the earlier ones in the series I found it more enjoyable.

This instalment in the series is about bodyguard Tony, Nico's right hand man who had a tough up bringing with an abusive father. He is the complete opposite to his father, women are to be cherished and protected and none so more that Pepper. Pepper is at the bellissimo to pay off her managers debts. She's a singer and a popular one. I really enjoyed the scenes with the two of them together, it brought out a different side to them. They shined when together and I loved the HEA.

I am loving this series, this is the 3rd book in the series. Each one can be read as a standalone but you have a better understanding if you have read the previous two.Pepper is a musician who finds herself indebted to the mob through the shady dealings of her manager. Tony is the enforcer who needs to ensure she repays her debt by singing for the casino.Pepper and Tony try hard to resist each other but in the end they are singing the same tune!! 🎤🎶I am so ready for Jokers Wild and Juniors story

Enjoyed reading this book about Pepper and Tony.Tony works for the Mafia as an enforcer and does a good job then enters Pepper and that's when he falls in love.Characters great and getting better.
