Not Perfect, but VERY Nice Cutting Board
The good is the board is beautiful and overall well crafted. It’s a perfect size/thickness and is a good weight. Not too heavy, but heavy enough to keep from moving around. There was a small surface defect and the board not dead flat. However, it’s very nice considering the price point. It’s a keeper and should serve us well for many years. Also, its made in Thailand not China.

This is nice so that the bottom does not stay wet while ...
This cutting board is just as described by the seller. It also was shipped promptly. It is very solid and large enough to do most anything that I require. One reviewer mentioned marks that appeared to be water stains on the surface of the new board. I can see some of these on this board as well. They appear to be part of the wood pattern when it was cut. The ones on this board are quite faint and when I oiled it they blended in even more. They are not distracting for me.The back side of the board has small rubber feet that elevate it about 1/8 of an inch or so off of the counter. This is nice so that the bottom does not stay wet while I cut things if the counter happens to be wet when I set it down. The finish is smooth and the corners slightly rounded. The joining of each piece/glue is very well done. I have cut on it and have only left very minor marks on it. Of course, I have not beaten it with a meat cleaver either. :) We primarily use cutco knives, just to give you an idea of the sharpness and hardness of the blades being used on the surface of this cutting board.Overall, it is a very pretty cutting board that is also sturdy. With proper care this will last my lifetime and hopefully be able to be given to one of our children one day. I think they are already anticipating my demise so that they can get my wood and cast iron kitchen pieces!! We have begun selecting items that can last and maybe even become an heirloom one day. This is one of those items that is pretty enough and constructed well enough that it could become one of those items.I would definitely purchase this item or suggest it to a friend. It would also make a fantastic piece in a kitchen gift set.

Excellent Cutting Board
This is an excellent board. I didn't want to write a review right after I bought it. Now, after about 16months of heavy daily use, it is still in great shape.Yes, heavy and daily. I'm a housewife and eat out about once a month. I cook all my meals from scratches, whole fish, chunk raw meat, whole lobster, all the raw vegetable from farmer's market. I almost never buy any processed food or pre-cut vegetables. I use the board a lot.I seasoned it thoroughly with mineral oil when I got it. Brush oil on both sides layers after layer every 10 to 20 min until it's kind of saturated-about 3 layers. Then I left it over night. Because I have to use it every day, it never had a chance to try completed. I didn't season it again until 10month later while I had vacationed 3wks. I cleaned it and left it on a wired shelf before I left for Europe, and seasoned it over night when I came back. This time only one layer of oil and some touch up are needed.I cut vegetables that dripping wet twice a day on it. I wash it under the hot running water after I cut meat. At end of the day I dry it with a cotton towel. My experience is if you season it well, it doesn't wrap that much; even it was always wet during the day. When you see visible wrapping often, just clean and dry it for few days and season it again. Of course, it doesn't mean it should be left on a wet surface often. Keep it clean and dry at end of the day. I do leave it flat on the counter almost 24/7. But I'm in Los Angeles, it's dry here. Probably will be better leave it vertically or on a metal rack if the bottom doesn't dry over night. The board is still in 90% of its original excellency after 16 months. I think it will last for years. Worth every penny.

Decent cheap board but poor customer service
I bought the board exciting to start my journey using less plastic in the kitchen. It is nice and large and made it fun to prep veggies. It also looks very nice. On the con side, it scratches rather easily and doesn’t hide as well as other boards. I treated with board oil after each wash and with beeswax once a month, and can still see scratches especiallly from bread knives. My biggest complaint is the customer service. The rubber feet came off after less than 3 months of careful use - customer care response was “go buy yourself new feet at a hardware store”laughable for something that is supposed to be buy it for life. Save yourself the trouble and put together some money and buy a Boos board or boardsmith.
