AUVIO HBT18600SE Ultra-Compact Soundbar

I only have high reviews for this. I've bought so many speakers they say are great and they were all crap. This is a great speaker. Turn it up past 5 and you'll rattle walls. Has bass and treble controls, the remote works well and is so freaking easy to use, just press bluetooth butyon and your phone is connected, other buttons to connect tv etc. A sinch to use and sounds extremely good. For a 100 bucks its almost free.

I purchased my first model of this speaker from Radio Shack and when I found one of these on Amazon that was refurbished and at an excellent price, I decided to by one for my house and if I needed I could use it as a replacement for my first one. I use my original one every day at school. I travel between two schools each day so the speaker is always being moved. I teach Music Appreciation, so it is used several hours most days. It hs almost been one school year and the only problem I've had is I have had to replace the cord. For its size it has a very good sound. This not what it was built for but seems to be very well built. I you use it in a home situation I think you would be happy with the sound for the amount of money that you will spend as it, in my opinion, the best sound in this price range.

I bought this speaker used for around $50 because I was looking for a new Bluetooth speaker within that price range. The size is great, especially if you're looking for a speaker that you don't intend to be too portable. The bass is really present on this, and it can get LOUD. I have this in my bedroom and I never turn the volume past 4 or 5 and it goes up to at least 30. The ability to have equalizers is great too. My only complaint is that this speaker produces a low hiss on all inputs, but does not get any louder as you turn up the volume. At really low volumes this is very annoying because it can even drown out the music. Again, this is only a problem at low volumes. It also has an auto-off function if there's nothing coming out of it for awhile which is kind of annoying because if you need to pause your music for 10 minutes or so you have to go turn it on and re-pair it which can be hassle to do all the time. The LED on the front is great, but it should have functioned as a clock as well(which is doesn't). The design of it is gorgeous and the touch sensitive buttons on it add a really premium feel to it. If you can find this for a good price definitely go for it. This destroys any other speaker of this size in its price range, and any price range above it.

Great sound, and the best option I could find in these compact dimensions. However it has a lot of hissing regardless of the input being used. At medium and higher volumes you don't notice too much. If you need a Soundbar less than 24 inches long, you'll be pressed to find a better option than this. Also, no irritating led light or anything when it's on, so you don't get distracted.

I am very glad to have purchased this compact soundbar. It was perfect for my needs - I have placed this above my microwave in my kitchen. It blends in perfectly and fills the kitchen and dining room with quality sound. The "music" setting is great - as it projects the sound to create an immersive experience that really fills the room. Switching this mode off really makes me realize what I'm missing by not having the feature. The audio is clear and plenty of bass. In fact, it can rattle surrounding items (but does not rattle itself). It can also be moved to another room in a matter of seconds. I also use it below my monitor on my small desk in my office for producing music in logic pro.If you would like quality sound in a compact size and are in this price range, look no further.

I bought this because I wanted a speaker to simulate surround sound and be used with the television as well as my iPhone.I actually have 2 of these. One for my bedroom and one in my living room.Although I have a complete surround sound entertainment system in another part of my house, I did not need anything that elaborate.Let me just say I'm thrilled with this speaker!! It is not as good as my full entertainment system but it's pretty close!It has a nice full range sound including simulated surround sound. In my bedroom I like to listen to soft music sometimes and it throws the sound around the room. VERY relaxing. With Bluetooth capability, I can just lay on the bed and go through my iTunes without havig to get up and attach it with a wire. Also the remote for the speaker allows you to change between movie, game, or music modes or turn "3D" sound off.Movies on the tv sound great too!And when I'm in the mood for something more exciting...it does a great job with electronic and dance music as well as rock and hip hop.It's an all around great performer.I love using it with the xbox hooked up to it too. My son and I love playing video games and the speaker immerses you in the sound. It has great bass too... Although it can sound a little muddy at times. But hey it's a small speaker!

If you like even a small amount of bass stay away from this unit! I bought this rather expensive soundbar for my girlfriend and it produces the worst sound! The bass makes the speakers distort like crazy! I don't know why we've gone this way of "small speakers with big sound" but it's a joke. If you want any kind of quality sound and you enjoy bass, you're going to have to get a big unit like one of the Sony shelf units. I'm getting pretty tired of hearing, "for the size the sound is amazing!" If you compare any of these to even a mini shelf unit it can't remotely compare. I would recommend the JVC flip blue tooth speaker. It has better sound than this and is cheaper. Plus it can run on battery.

Got this as an open box deal, would have paid 3 times the price and felt it was worth it. Really nice well rounded sound, amazing volume (I never get it to full volume even in the large room it is in) and virtually distortion free. I am amazed at the sound quality for the price and size, with deep rich bass, poppy mid range and clear highs. Only removed a star for the obnoxious and loud sound it makes when pairing blue tooth, completely un-necessary. Design is great and functionality as well, remote small and easy to use.
