Works well
The directions I found said I had 5min working time.... I'd say you have about 5 minutes before it starts to set. A little goes along ways. I mixed 1:1 with about 1/4" line of each and was able to attach 5 square inches of heat syncs. I spread it really thin on the heatsync so that I could minimize the squeeze out... You do not want it on the contacts of the chip!!! I'm not sure what you could use to clean it up while still wet so I just made sure I didnt have to clean any up.Removal can only occur if you're willing to freeze the item. At about 0*F the adhesive starts to loose some of it's bonding strength as it crystallizes, at this point it's mentioned you could remove the heat sync very carefully. But they claim it is not removable so you may still damage the chip.Storage of remaining product in the fridge put the caps on well, I placed them in a baggie and added a few descants from pill bottles too.

cleanliness next to godliness
Purchased this adhesive for re-affixing heat sinks in used server machines. I got an incredible deal on the servers because some of the heat-sink clips broke while the original owners were performing maintenance. This product was used on the northbridge/southbridge chips. Because this product bonds elements together you will not likely use this for the CPU.I purchased 92% alcohol and cotton pads from the drug store and cleaned up the old crusted stuff that was on the chip and heat-sink. Mixing the two components was straightforward. They seem to thicken up a bit after mixing and a tiny dollop is all you need for complete coverage. After a few minutes it seemed to completely bond to the aluminum heat-sink, but I didn't really feel inclined to aggravate the process. I let the servers sit overnight, but had it not been the end of the day I would have felt comfortable beginning burn-in testing immediately.** UPDATE **Over two years after application I was able to inspect the bond. With the server running 24/7 365 in a rack-mount environment the bond still seems strong. I have no worries about this product.

Great product but don't waste time while applying.
Used this to apply heat sinks above the memory on the backplate of my EVGA FTW3 3090. This did a great job and even without a fan the rear memory chips are much cooler than they were without the heat sinks. Do not dawdle when applying this after mixing! I only had about 7 minutes or so to get the thermal adhesive and heat sinks into position after it was mixed. I strongly suggest mixing small batches and applying a few heat sinks at a time.Ambient temperature will affect how long this takes to set. If you want longer working time mix and apply this in an air conditioned environment. (And read the instructions!)

Sets fast with a strong bond making it more "glue" than "grease"- perfect for large LEDs and other permanent installations.
Worked like a champ gluing rectangular LED clusters to homemade heatsinks. Very strong bond. The tubes are less than half full and almost totally covered by the labels so it's hard to tell how much you've dispensed. I removed the labels, trimmed and re-wrapped them around the top part of the tube rather than the bottom part near the tip, where they were originally. This pulled off most of the printed graduations on the tube requiring me to redraw them in later with a thin Sharpie. However, there seems to be enough glue for several large heatsink projects at least. Work quickly and use small amounts - just enough for one or two medium sized components at a time - to avoid wastage. Also use clamps if possible. The stuff sets up quickly in hot weather.

Arrived damaged and broken
I don't know if its because of the packaging or what, but this item is delivered broken. The nozzle breaks and the paste spread all over inside tiny plastic container. This item will be delivered by my 2nd courier, they received it like that. I'm expecting for this to function poorly cause of the spilled tube B. Doesn't even have a secured package/cover like other products to begin with. Very poor QA, Not recommended.

Very solid adhesive for mounting heatsinks. THIS IS GLUE! not just TIM...
This is a 2 part thermal paste adhesive for mounting heatsinks on computer components. I used this product to adhere some passive heatsinks on an HD6950 for the memory chips since I am using a universal water block on the GPU core. I have used a number of thermal pads that were supposed to be adhesive, but they all were lacking in adhesion, causing the heatsinks to fall off the components. These 2 tubes of TIM can be mixed 1 to 1 to form a paste. I imagine 1 part is TIM and the other adhesive. At any rate you mix the two and after about 30 seconds it will form a bonding adhesive. There is included a small plastic applicator that I used for mixing and applying the paste. What I can tell you is this forms a very solid bond so I would only recommend this if you know that you need some extra bonding power and you don't expect to remove the parts. I mixed the stuff on a small piece of cast acrylic window material and it bonded just as easily to that. Removal took some scrubbing, but eventually the paste came off.Treat this stuff like glue and you will be OK. I highly recommend this if you know what you're doing and you expect a strong bond for your component cooling.

Perfect aftermarket heatsink adhesive!
If you need to attatch or re-attatch a heatsink or heatsink-fan *PERMANENTLY* to a chip (motherboard chipset, old video card GPU, ram chips, et cetra) this is the stuff to use. I used it to attatch a HR-05-SLI (google it) to an nforce4 ultra chipset on a mobo. After 20 minutes, it had set enough for me to pick the entire motherboard up by the heatsink... not a good idea, but I was curious. And the heat transfer through this epoxy (it IS epoxy) is incredibly good, too! There is enough in the two tubes (its binary, two tubes to mix to activate the curing process) to attatch about five mobo chipset size chips to heatsinks depending on how much you use. Quite a good deal when you consider this is the best thermally conductive epoxy on the market!
