This is a great resource for anyone interested in trauma care in hostile conditions. It was obviously written for military medics, but it is also an excellent reference for cops, concealed carry holders and anyone who might go into harms way. I purchased this book as part of my research on adapting care under fire tactics for law enforcement, and was very happy to have bought it.68W goes into a lot more detail than just care under fire (garrison care, etc.) But the information on care under fire is worth the price of this book alone.Medical terminology is used, but is clearly explained. I do not have a medical background, but I was able to easily read and understand everything in this book. Photos and illustrations are excellent.

Very useful photos, drawings and contents. Very happy with this book.I should buy a new one instead of a second hand (someone wrote inside).

Good to see that the CM is going back to using real case studies to estend the field care. Point in case, theturniquet was the "devils rope". Back in my day, that would have been a lot of horsecrap. A comprehensive and easy to use guide for persons without a medical background. A great tool to learn some of the combat medic information you would not have otherwise had. A must have for tactical preparations.

This is the book the Army should have been supplying to all Combat Medic trainees when I went through my course. I went ahead and bought it while in the course and found it to be perfect to go along with the class syllabus. I easily passed all my exams and continue to use it as a reference 4 years later.

This book will make you well rounded and will give you up to intermediate level knowledge in every area. It's more if an attempt to give you a somewhat of a formal overview and not so much a field manual for quick reference. Great book though, it put me way ahead as a combat medic.

This book was purchased for my daughter who will be going into the Army as a Medic, and wanted to delve in before shipping out. With my healthcare background, I found it to be an excellent resource for anyone entering this type of field.

Best medicine knowledge you can buy. Perfect complement for your tc3 and phtls. A whole vision about tactical medicine and prehospital trauma. Great contents and very ilustrative. Prehospital Medicine is my passion, 68w my choice.

bon c est en english mais si on était moins nul on l'aurait déjà fait en français.fiches descriptives du problème a traiter dessins et photos couleurs ( attention ça tache)on peut même les détacher s'adresse bien sur aux infirmiers militaires en premier lieu et certaines procédures sont purement US army.malgré son cout je le recommande et y adjoindre "where is no doctor et no dentist " (in anglais of course!)

Having completed a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC-3) course, this book is helping me further advance my knowledge and confidence. I'm just starting Chapter 6. I'm reading slowly and a page or two at a reading. So far so good.
