Another stroke in the genius series
The story of Dawood’s mentor has the penchant zaidi stamp on it. Only he can write such a page turning narrative on such a dark topic and this book is a fitting addition (one of the best) to the series. Leaves no questions but only a desire for the next book!

Trash
I am a big fan of Hussain Zaidi having read all his books since Black Friday but of late or of my repeat reading of his books or his last few books I have a strong reason to suspect that the author is really making a hero of these gangsters as though they fought for our freedom or something. This book is one classic attempt of the author turning a plain Goonda into a figure worth reading. From Black Friday & Dongri to Dubai to such low level trash is just unbelievable. The author himself should read his own Dangerous minds and this trash. Mr. Hussain Zaidi u are much better than this.....

Worst Book Ever - And this may be it.
Most farce falls flat on its face in the end, but this plot never even lifts off the ground. Zaidi's naration is tipid like previous novels. There is lack of differentiation between the fact and fiction – if you can’t do biography, don’t construct a whole novel out of it. Criminal are characterless, only distinguished by Zaidi's respective levels of obnoxious attraction to them.

Typical Hussain Zaidi narration. Thrilling, fast paced and well researched
Beautiful narration of how Khalid Khan mentored Dawood in his initial days and then helped him to grow big and finally how they fell out with each other. At some places author has wandered to certain incidents which had no relevance to Khalid and Dowood's relationship and hence could have been avoided. But I still like this piece as it gives insight into one more part of Dawood's life.
