My mom is a very tough person to buy for and rarely likes anything I purchase because she apparently needs nothing. However she did smile when she opened this gift and thought it was really pretty. She of course would never leave her jewelry out in the open because that would be crazy, but said she has some ideas of how to use the dish and showcase it in her knick knack collection. Definitely a nice gift and good quality for the price.
