Works in a pinch.
Won’t take place if a crescent wrench but handy in the theater or stagecraft application.

Easy to use
With the amount of theater and film work that I do, I figured I might as well invest in one of these light keys. I don't have a problem with the length of the wrench like some other reviewers do, and I can get a very secure clamp with 50-60 pound fresnels, even at a funny angle. My only complaint is that they claim that this is anodized, but it seems painted to me. The color comes off very easily. Another owner of this light key got the silver one, because he figured that the "anodization" is just blue dye, and he was right. I still like the beat up blue one that I have though, because it shows its "battle scars."

If you lose your focus wrench, this'll do the job.
Handy for lighting technicians. Wish the handle was longer to provide better grip. As someone previously mentioned, it doesn't offer much torque, but it wasn't much of an issue for the pipe bolt (the pan screw was another story). Had some trouble tightening rusty C-Clamps (especially the pan screw), so if you work with older equipment, having another focus wrench on hand would be much easier. It's a nifty little tool, and the price isn't that bad, but you could probably get them a bit cheaper at your local theatrical supply store (if you live in San Jose or the Bay Area, they were $9 at Musson's last week).

Great tool.
I got this thing both as a last ditch wrench for working on Lekos and as something of a badge to separate myself as a member of the house A/V crew vs the rest of the house staff. It's light, solid, and is easy to carry anywhere you would keep a set of car keys. If I felt the need I wouldn't hesitate to buy a spare.

Great gadget
Each month I spend 4-8 hours in a studio re-lighting & re-setting lights. I wish I had this gadget years ago. It has made my work go so much easier. Love it!Only wish it wasn’t aluminum but steel as it’s already dinged, scratched and feeling like I’ll need to replace it soon.

Does its job well
I use this a lot as a lighting tech. It fits any type of fixture that is out there. The only issue that I have with it, is that it strips easily. I have 2 of these in my kit at all times, and both of them that I have currently are a little stripped. This is with light use as well.

Great for my tech theatre kid
Purchased for my son to use in his tech theatre class and for lighting adjustments for performances. He gives it a thumbs up! I think it's great that it comes in multiple colors - find something that won't blend in with the rest of the tools!

Light and Versatile
I absolutely love these wrenches. They're lightweight and are great for minor adjustments if you don't feel like carrying around a crescent wrench or a larger focus wrench. The hole at the bottom of the handle is perfect for a carabiner attachment for safety, so if you're on a lift or a catwalk, you'll know that you won't be responsible for any injuries.

Useful tool for anyone hanging light fixtures
This handy tool is a boon for setting fixtures. It fits all of the fasteners found on traditional iron C-clamps.It is a little soft, so care in use will be needed to get maximum lifespan.Unfortunately, shipping to Alberta costs TWICE what the tool costs !?!?!
