Master Sportsman Women's Alpine Fishing Vest

This is a really nice fishing vest. It is well made, light weight, and has more than enough pockets. However, there were two issues - size and color.Order this vest one size larger than the size you would normally purchase. I wear a size 10 pants and medium or large shirt, so I ordered a large vest. It fit, but if I wanted to wear a sweatshirt or hoodie, it would have been a little snug zipped up. I live in the north, so I often fish in a sweatshirt or hoodie and I wanted to be able to have the vest zipped while fishing.The color wasn't a big deal to me, but mine was not light pink. It was a darker pink/plum.

This vest was originally bought as a Mothers Day gift for me. I had to return and reorder as sizing runs small, if you want room to cast. I wouldn't call it "pink" as only the neck edge is pink with rest being beige. But it should work for what a fishing vest should do for me, that is: Hold the extra bait and an extra hook.

There are so many pockets, I feel like a bank vault. it is a great safari jacket for Africa with everything including camera gear, insect repellant, baby wipes, lipstick (OK so I wear lipstick in Africa, but the elephants like it), glasses, snacks, whatever fitting in these pockets. Washable too. I will keep this one.

Fits perfectly; not too long; hits right above the waist which is perfect for casting. It has a zip closure or you can leave it unzipped and use the adjustable clasp closure. It’s lightweight with lots of pockets. Appears well made and should last me a long time. I like the color and the purple extras. Feminine yet practical. I’m very happy with this purchase!

I am a small person (5'2", 120 lbs), but because of prior comments that this vest runs small, I ordered the medium. The medium is still too small for me. I am a fly fisherman, and frankly, the upper pockets are too small to be very useful. I was very disappointed. Also, the pink areas came in a burgundy color. That really wasn't important, but it was not what it looked like in the picture.

This vest needs a stronger zipper.Fine that it's lightweight but the little point at the bottom of the male side just fell off.

I ordered in 2016: Master Sportswoman vest. GREAT. . I thought I reordered July 2017. Instead received Master Sportsman vest.Smaller more awkward fit. Doesnt seem as good quality. Tried to find original pink collared Master Sportswoman vestRN #92627. NOT Master Sportsman vest RN # 96834. ( which has similar collar but purple).

Used it now about 10 days on the river. Very Happy with it
