Tools Wheel/Gear Puller-Adjustable

One of the neatest little tools I have ever bought, right out the package I pulled off every gear off every small electric motor I had. Really great design and seems to be really well built. I was originally worried it would be too big but this thing will almost hide behind a quarter, perfect for small motors. Thought about ordering another one just in case but after using it the first time I'm sure this will be a tool that will still be being used long after I am gone.

Very poorly made. "Precision" is a joke. The one I received, the jaws are off center by at least a 1/16". The thumb screw that limits the separation of the jaws is too small to make the jaws close enough to do small work. The pin on the end of the screw to push the shaft to pull your part off is off center and looks like it was snipped off. For me, pretty much unusable. I'm returning it

QC seems poor for this product as some buyers reported the jaw lengths are different. My copy is free of that problem and it works as expected. There are two dials and the lower one locks the jaw opening width. There is only one place I am not satisfied: the central push pin is too thin. It will be much better that the central pin is as wide as the screw thread. Remember to add a steel washer to avoid surface scratches.

I had a gear that wouldn't break loose by hand so I used pliers to turn it and it broke loose with no damage to the tool...

Love this puller. It works very well on my cuckoo clocks. Would like a slightly broader base to get more bite for certain applications, but an overall great little piece of equipment...

The one that I received was of poor quality. The lift hooks were nowhere close to being centered on the pusher screw which would have made straight pulling impossible. Expected a lot more for the price point. Sent this one back.

This item, although a well made tool, was much smaller than I realized so it could not be fitted to the wheel I wanted to pull.

(+) Movable jaws make it easier to get into tight spaces.(~) Some threaded parts are a bit loose, but not badly so.(-) Tip of 'pusher' had to be ground flat as was angled.
