Expect poor craftsmanship
It will work for my Lent decoration, but, as other reviewers have pointed out, the quality and craftsmanship leave much to be desired. There are many splintering surfaces and the cut edges are chipped (perhaps from a dull saw)For the price, you'd be much better going to a hardware store, having them cut three small pieces and gluing them together yourself.I'm very disappointed, but keeping it out of laziness.

Wood came in bad condition and wood already caused splinter it’s so shredded in many places
Had previously ordered and received in great condition. This one came very destructed. Wood all shredded on edges. Disappointed bc I needed for Easter and should not have been shipped in this condition

I really like the rustic look
I really like the rustic look .... like "the old rugged cross" we sing about. I thought it was a little pricey for the size and the hanger was put in so far that it had to be taken out and reinserted. Thanks for the quick and smooth transaction.

Disappointed
I was so excited for this to come, but was disappointed upon arrival. One the ends are sawed and unfinished, two it’s poorly put together and doesn’t lie flat against the wall, three it had cobwebs all over it lastly, this is a big one it had BIRD POOP on it!

Beautiful addition to our Livingroom
This is a beautiful but rustic looking piece. The wood is rough and the ends are not finished. This does not bother me, but I can see it being a problem for some. I got the weathered gray and it looks identical to the way it is pictured on the site.

I love this cross
I love this cross. There are a couple reviews not so happy, but they were exactly as I expected. I was looking for a cross to use for Lent decorating at my church. I added a small grapevine wreath over the cross to simulate a crown of thorns - it's beautiful. Sorry, but I don't have a picture. Now you have to remember they use weathered boards to make the cross. The outside is weathered, but, where they cut the board, it is whiter wood - but that is just how it is. Anyway, I love them

Perfect!
This was exactly what I was looking for! The edges were unpainted so I just used some dark gray craft paint, mixed with a little water and touched up the cut ends. I also wanted it to sit on a table, not hang on the wall, so I found a rough wooden base and attached it to the bottom. Perfect!
