Original Sanyo GXBA TV Remote Control for Models DS24425, DS27225, DS27425, DS32225

Had to replace an original remote, but was not able to find the exact one and ended up getting 2 substitutes that barely lasted a year between the two of them. Meanwhile, my original remote was broken in half and still worked (if you count pressing the buttons down so hard you gave yourself a hernia). After the second replacement broke I found these and am thrilled to say they are so much better than the subs. They seem to hold up better (they fall off the couch pretty often) and last so much longer than their cheap counterparts.

Billed as an "original Sanyo Remote Control. It's not. It says Sanyo but doesn't have anywhere near as many buttons as the one in the pictures at Sanyo's website. The remote worked fine but it didn't control all the aspects of the television I bought it for. It turns it on and it changes the stations but it can't change screen aspects or modify much of the system. But for the price, it's not a problem. What got me was a note inside the package written by the president of the company who said that if there was any issues WHATSOEVER, to let him know. I emailed him, not as a complaint at all, about whether he might know of one that controls more functions. As I said, not a complaint, just a polite query. No reply. Repeated email. Again, no reply. I'm done. It's an old TV and not worth too much trouble. But if that's the sort of non-follow-up one gets from the president, what happens to the poor sap who really has a problem and needs help??

This remote powers on the TV, changes the channel, and adjusts the volume, that is it. The menu will not work nor will any of the other buttons work even though it prescribes to. All in all, it allows me to turn the tv on and off and change the channels.

THE REMOTE THAT CAME WITH MY NOW OLDER TV HAS BEEN USED SO MUCH THAT THE ARROW KEYS DO NOT WORK ANY MORE. I WAS RELIEVED TO GET A NEW ONE THAT WORKS PERFECTLY. IT WAS DELIVERED EARLIER THAN EXPECTED AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS ONE.

I bought this for my client who needed another remote. It worked as soon as I put the batteries in and he hasn't had any issues so far. It works with any tv. If there's any issues in the future I'll update my review.

Still didn't solve my problem, but not the fault of the Remote.

Ordered as a replacement for old Sanyo remote control; device is exactly as described and identical to the original, just placed in batteries and was all set to go.

Works great. Replaced the old remote that went bad. Very satisfied! Amazon was a life savor. Hated to think I was going to have to use a universal remote. Thanks Amazon.com.
