I just got my copy of this movie in 4k from Disney. I wasn't expecting much since I am a fan of the Nutcracker ballet. But I could not resist the color and sets and costumes. Mackenzie Foy is very good in her role as Clara. You do feel the emotion of the family in the loss of the mother (Disney writers seem to need that as a fallback for emotion these days - see 'Mary Poppins Returns). Morgan Freeman is back as a gadgeteer - this time as Drosselmeyer. Helen Mirren is her terrific self as usual. Otherwise, the plot is fairly weird with snippets of the wonderful Tchaikovsky music here and there and some excellent dancing which is way too short. The scenery and costumes alone deserved a much better script. Why the five stars? The feature videos - One of Andrea Bocelli and Matteo Bocelli in a fabulous song 'Fall on me'. This has to go down in music history as the classic father/son song. The other is the wonderful Lang Lang playing parts of the Nutcracker on the piano. The features are only on the blu-ray.

Delightful movie, beautiful, magical, heartwarming, gorgeous scenes. Great story.

Los discos viene sueltos y ni si quiere está abierto. Además no trae slipcover y se siente muy endeble el case. A devolver.
