Likes : dang thing looks nice easy to installDislikes : well .....I had it really close to the radiator like 1" and it didn't feel like it was doing anything ?😳 Maybe it's just me but I didn't feel the pull of air the blades are straight don't know ...

Moves a lot of air
Bought this fan to replace the fan clutch fan that the mechanics put on my engine that sawed into my brand new radiator! My 1981 Ford 4.9L straight 6 F-100. Ford didnt design that year model model with an engine fan clutch! After buying a universal CHEVY all aluminum radiator that was closest to the OEM Ford radiator in size and inlet/outlet locations because 42 yr F-100 4.9l radiators are VERY EXPENSIVE IF YOU CAN EVEN FIND ONE. So after buying a 2.5 in spacer and the correct OEM radiator shroud for that model pickup truck I'm back in business. The 18" OEM sized flex fan is very strongly built and resisted bending by me pulling and pushing on it while tightening the mounting bolts during installation. It moves a lot of air and my truck stays well within the operating temp range. I am very pleased with my MADE IN AMERICA purchase!

Just like it should be.
NO the fan blades do NOT flex and flatten out like other fans do. The blades are ridged. THese are not designed to pull more air then OEM fans. Their designed for higher RPM rating. 8k rpm. My application is as follows. Hot cammed 351 cleveland motor, I changed to a smaller pully. Almost doubling the water pump speed, and also fan speed. Was way too fast for OEM blades. So I needed high RPM fan like this. Works Perfectly. As intended. Their not intended to solve an overheating problem. I changed pullys to increase water flow to solve that. Which also worked out perfectly. I have a 450hp Cleveland that runs at 150 degrees as a result. But that's not due to the fan.

Gave me the clearance I needed for extra belt
Good looking Fan, good price. Used it on a 76 bronco, after adding AC and an extra belt needed it for clearance. Worked out great

Well made but did not move enough air to keep up with A/C running on hot days.
