So far very great. Replaced Beachcomber hush pump that went out. This pump is a semi constant run pump. So far made it through winter and hot tub runs like new. Replacement was simple if you know about tools, basic electric and have common sense. Took me 30 min after the tub was drained.

Good motor, bad capacitor
Powerful motor compared to the eight year one being replaced. After two months use the capacitor (small round electronic device under cover on top which kick-starts the motor) failed. Inexpensive to fix DIY thanks to Amazon, but should not happen with a brand-new motor.

Working fine
The pump is working fine but is not 1/15 HP, is 1/12HP, again, is working fine but the description in the product should say "1/12 HP".

I gave a 3 because I ordered a 1/15 hp but received a 1/12 hp
I not gonna bother returning it, because I think it'll still work fine. But details like that are important to recognize when filling an order.

Aqua-Flo Spa pump
I received the replacement pump on time and it was a good match to the old pump. The horsepower of the new pump motor was a 1/12th horsepower and the old 2004 pump motor was a 1/15th horsepower. System operates normally with the new installation.

Hush pump
Bolted right into hot tub as original replacement, h/p rating came as 1/8 instead of 1/15 though, but works fine
