The light over my kitchen table was the original and needed replacing. Normally, I'd go to a home improvement store or a lighting store but... COVID. Amazon has so many choices. I like the look of this one; I like clear as I can never choose a color/finish. I don't really consider it a "mini" as in the description. It works over my 30" x 36" drop leaf (leaves down) table and is only slightly smaller than the original. I had it installed by a professional electrician. The cord is approximately 2.5" from the ceiling and hangs about the same distance above my table top. There was additional length left in the ceiling in case it ever needs to be lowered.Maybe because the dome/shade is clear, this light gives off a LOT of light. I needed that but it may be a bit more than I need. I am using a 60W equivalent LED bulb. I may take it down. I am using this as my work desk during COVID and my back is to a sliding glass door. I keep the blinds closed to avoid glare. Even at night, this light is bright/sufficient.

I love the look of these they look so much better in my kitchen with the glass globes than the metal closed globes I had before. They brighten the kitchen. The one about my sink is a perfect length I just wish they were a little longer over my island but that is definitely a preference thing, they look great and they are an amazing price. I looks at other options on pottery barn and although not the same it’s a similar look for what the taxes/shipping would have been on the PB option.

Great style n color but color off glass was already coming off and unevenly assembled when received . Too much hassle to take down so I kept them !

The English instruction side was double printed and very small text. I took a high resolution picture which allowed me to read them with difficulty. The cord trims to length ok BUT the wires are not color coded - just labeled! So when you cut it to length you cut the labels off! I laboriously cut a slit down the cord lengthwise (risking a nasty cut from my razor knife) so I could rip the outer cord sheath off, then transferred the labels (another hassle) to the new location. The labels are not that intuitive either. 'N' for neutral was simple, 'L' for load rather than 'hot' or 'power' as is customary in my experience, and the electrical ground symbol for ground (had to Google it). What a hassle! I've installed many light fixtures over the years and this was a new sort of dumb. Would it have cost a lot more to use color coded wire and describe the color code in the instructions? But, what do you expect from "made in China"?

Of all the home design decisions we needed to make, the lights were the ones we sat on the longest. Then, when I saw these, I knew this was made for our kitchen. And the price was the final straw. They look INCREDIBLE! We live in a 90+ year old house that has a fusion of old and new, with a navy and copper kitchen that's open to the dining room. We got these for over the bar peninsula that separates kitchen and dining. It's got everything: sass, class, an old time vibe with a modern edge, bright glass, brushed copper.... it just looks amazing. Because it's glass, it's not in your face either - it blends right in.We had an electrician install and he didn't complain so we're assuming all is good on that front.

This was a replacement for a kitchen island light that I broke. Great value for a beautiful seeded light. Just be aware that each one is unique and will not have the same amount of bubbles in the glass.

We returned this item as the colour did not suite our decor

Easy to install and gives that touch of class in the kitchen/dining room combo. I have it over my kitchen island and the bubble glass shade gives it that elegant touch, visual appeal in a classy kitchen, without it being 'overdone'.

I love these lamps, they look great over my bar! The copper colour is beautiful. We have received compliments on them.
