My daughter is 7 she’s been emotional and I got this book to talk through thing sec and give her confidence and understanding.

Just a few pages in and this book has given my daughter tools to get through her days. She has expressed how it has helped her and even brought me to realize these are the things that I may have needed to read. Already purchased the equivalent for adults from Sissy Goff.

Wow! My 9-year-old daughter's anxiety was getting so bad at night that was shaking, crying, and being awoken in the middle of the night with fears of throwing up. I felt hopeless that nothing was going to help her (and exhausted!) I bought Sissy's workbook and it has been a miracle. We have been completing one chapter before bed (we are on day 4) and she has fallen asleep every night peacefully with zero "attacks." I am amazed. From Day 1!!! Do you know what I think is so powerful about the workbook? My daughter felt KNOWN and SEEN. Immediately. I don't struggle with anxiety so I don't really get what she's going through and I can't give her the appropriate compassion and understanding. Sissy gave that to her! This workbook has showed her that she isn't defected or crazy. But instead, she is Smart. Strong. Caring. Courageous. Get the book! God will minister to your child through it!

This book popped up on my feed, but, I finally bought it when it was recommended by our pediatrician. When reading the intro with my 9 year old, my daughter answered YES! to almost every worry-question. I was thinking, “wow, I’m glad we’re starting this book then!” I love everything that Sissy Goff writes, so I’m prayerful, as we finish this book, that my daughter will agree too. Thanks for giving us the tools we need to help our kids grow up well!

I had reviewed this book for a work project once and quickly realized that the coping techniques and exercises in the book to help work yourself down from anxious thoughts wouldn’t just be beneficial for younger girls, but for other godly girls in my own context—girls in their 20’s and 30’s who deal with anxiety. I cannot begin to explain how much this book has helped me process through anxious thoughts.Truly, moms and dads, don’t just have your daughters do this book. Do a favor for yourself and buy a copy to help with YOUR own anxieties as well, and do it WITH your daughter. We all have “worry monsters”, no matter how old we get, and we can always walk in more freedom in Christ’s peace. This book will help you do it!

My bubbly 7-y.o. started experiencing crippling worry. I was familiar with Sissy’s work and had listened to podcasts for years and read the parent book … but THIS, doing this book with my daughter has not only strengthened our bond, but has drastically changed her worry. I can’t believe the difference it has made for her to be able to name her Worry Monster and talk about it together. She looks forward to the activities and asks to do her book before bed. I’m finally starting to see my girl come back to life again. Thank you, Sissy for sharing your work with us.

Seems ok, I returned it because it was more of a workbook than an educational motivation book for kids. I must have misread the description for sure.

My 10yo is struggling with new emotions and anxieties that she hasn’t yet learned how to cope with. She read this book front to back and has made some very positive changes in her thoughts and has learned how to manage the new emotions in 4th grade as well as life or new challenges that rear their head. I am so thankful I ordered this book for her. She carries it with her and that alone calms her.

This book written from a Christian perspective and was very easily read by an 8 year old. The author had a good way of describing anxiety and relating well to the young child. The tips for handling anxiety as it begins to mount up were very helpful. Highly significant was the presentation that this is a common disorder, and it left the child feeling less isolated in their struggle with anxiety. I highly recommend the book.

This book has been instrumental in helping my 12 year old daughter deal with her anxiety and worries in a very healthy way. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

This is a very good workbook for girls with anxiety. Using it with my 7 year old and it is helping her be very self aware, and also with coping strategies. Such kind encouraging writing.

This book is a wonderful resource, unfortunately the Christian references including encouragement to look up references in the Bible limit it to a Christian audience. I wish there was a secular version so all children could benefit!
