Pro: relaxing, good playability (took me about 2 hrs.), bright colors, everything you need is included.Cons: see pic of black foam. Came with impressed dent from needle, which made it a little tricky to work over that area., needle foam VERY small..should have been size of felt.. See pic of roving.. Had allot of debris in roving.Overall its worth the cash! Needle must be kept straight during use or it will break.

There was not enough wool to finish the colors.

Product was very hard to puncture with needle. After several attempts the needle broke making the whole project worthless. I will not buy again.

I was curious about needle felting technique, and this kit seemed like a good way to try it out and see if I liked needle felting before buying lots of tools and materials. After completing the project in two nights I'm hooked, and will be ordering more needles and wool very soon.I really like how the picture turned out. The needle lasted me all through the project, and it was easy to use with the included piece of foam. I watched some tutorials online on how to use the needle, because there was only one in the kit, and I read that they break easily. So went extra-slow for a bit, to be sure to move the needle very straight, without putting any stress on it. I'm really proud of my first attempt, to be honest with you.There was wool left over after I was done, except for blue. There was just enough for somewhat spotty coverage, see the zoomed-in picture. I guess we can say it's water ripples. All the other colors of wool came in more than sufficient quantities and I was able to achieve full coverage with those.Hard to complain when the whole kit was under 10 dollars to buy. A great way to test-drive a new technique before investing real money into supplies.All in all, I can wholeheartedly recommend this kit for a beginner. Just go slow and keep that needle straight.

Good price initally... But needle broke on day 2. Not sure there will be enough material to complete. Waiting for new package of needles (another $7) hope I can complete with out ordering anything else. Wanted an inexpensive project to complete while recovering from being sick.I Like the design.* update I ordered needles from another seller to complete this kit. I was given enough materials to complete just barley. Very pleased with final results.

The needle in the kit arrived broken. My daughter did another style and they tend to not include enough felting material. Glad we had extra needles and felt at home.
