Ford 302 spark plug socket works awesome
I have a 302 ford with aluminum heads. Previous owner had to helicoil a spark plug. I believe it was installed just slightly crooked. Anyway spark plug is closer to the head than the other non helicoiled plugs are. I tried several other styles of sockets, no luck. This worked perfectly

A godsend for chevy guys with exotic aftermarket heads
This socket has forever solved the problem of having to take a grinder or belt sander to a perfectly good spark plug socket to make it fit into the recessed plug hole of my Dart 12 degree Buick style small block Chevy heads. It fits with room to spare, and the fact that it positively locks onto the plug makes it even more convenient when working around my cramped large tube headers. This is absolutely ideal for my particular application, and is probably a viable solution for other exotic Chevrolet cylinder heads.

Doesn’t work on YZ426
I bought this to get the spark plug outta my 426 without removing the tank. But … these no clearance to be able to use this tool.I don’t get it … that’s kinda why I bought it.I feel like it’s for something else … and not for my 426.

All good
Would wish for the extension to be a bit longer but all in all good product

Not quite long enough
Bought this to use on a 2008 R1200GS. Socket plus extension isn't quite long enough to clear the valve covers on the primary plugs, but the socket is thin enough to get in there and grab both the primary and secondary plugs. The holes allow you to use it in the field without carrying a ratchet along... if the extension was longer.Wish the extension was 2" longer... would have given it 5 stars.

Quality, good for 2006 BMW R1200RT spark plugs. not too heavy.
Quality, good for 2006 BMW R1200RT spark plugs. not too heavy.I give it 5 stars.I know that I would be asking for the moon...But what the heck:With regards to the 2006 BMW R1200RT application I bought it for...It works great fitting into the very tight tube that the spark plugs are deep inside.Would be even better if they made the "head" of the socket a 22mm Allen size so that it would also take off the front axle (would it still fit?)and the extension tool could have detents in the side to fit onto and remove the oil fill cap.And the sides of the socket could have holes (like a ported disk brake) so that it was even lighter. but wouldn't want it to be too week to apply 30-40Nm of torque reliably.

Good set up not for newer BMW R1200 engines
Bought for my 2014 BMW R1200 but did so before I got the spark plugs which are 14 mm or 9/16 . This will work fine for my car, my bad in not checking first, older boxer engines used 5/8 so double check first. The extension takes a 1/4 drive ratchet. No risk for over torque. No rubber insert, which is preferred for spark plugs, at least in my book.

Success at last, swap those bmw plugs
If you want to change the spark plugs on your BWM R1200GS this is the tool that you need. Sure you can grind down a standard one, but if you get this one you can skip the partial tool destruction on the way to tool usefulness. The included extension is useful and the hole in the end of that is good for a quick t-handle to spin your plug in our out. Don't forget the anti-seize, on the plug not the tool.
