good for money
this is a very solid basket its not cheap or flimsy... not for small bbqs though we have a smaller bbq and have to but our jalapeno poppers all on one side.. so if you have a smaller bbq get something smaller..

Okay but slippage and raw spots when cooking
We used this for the first time just this year in 2019 during a camping trip after buying it years ago. We have a family of 8 and thought this would make it super easy to feed everyone. There were parts of the meat that would over cook and others were raw. Thank goodness they were plant burgers as it was dark, lol. We kept having an issue with the patties sliding around too. It was an okay product to use but next time will just bring a cast iron skillet to even cook.

Excelling for grilling burgers and more
We had used one of these grill baskets for about 25 years and finally decided to get a new one. We couldn't find one in the local stores and were very happy to find it on Amazon. In fact, we bought two because we didn't want to be without one. Although, if it lasts 25 years, we may not get around to using the second one. :-)It is simply great for grilling burgers. You don't end up with the burger falling apart and onto the fire. Easy to cook and flip up to 6 at one time. And foods don't usually stick to the chrome finish. Easy to clean. My only complaint is with Amazon's packaging. They put it in a ridiculously large cardboard box - very wasteful.

Good for grilling veggies!
My initial trial of this "hamburger grill" was with sliced eggplant, red onions, green peppers and zucchini, which I had marinated in olive oil and seasonings. I had wanted to grill veggies on my outside grill for a long time but was concerned they would fall into the charcoals. This grill holds everything in place and and I had almost no problem with veggies slipping into the coals. I may never actually use this for hamburgers, but really like it for veggies. It's a little clumsy washing in the kitchen sink, but I use the spray and it gets clean enough.

Not smart design.
Just tried it and burnt my hands. The heat dissipates rather efficiently to the unprotected steel handles and the lock is not locking at all, dropping food all over easily. Silly design that needs improvement. The other positive reviews led me to buy this but most likely will return and buy different one. Finally, the steel is rather thin making the device bend when loaded with a few hamburgers.

Nice hamburger basket
I like this basket. It is deep enough to take a thicker burger or piece of meat, but each section closes down a bit to keep the food from sliding around. It is big enough to handle quite a bit of food. The handle is long enough to keep out of the heat. It cleans easily.

its ok, but sticking is a big issue
not nearly as good as its japanese counterparts.

This thing ROCKS!
This thing ROCKS! No need for spatulas, tongs or forks ever again. I just carry it out to the grill loaded with meat, cook, flip, finish cooking and carry it back in the house. Also great for things like fish and burgers that could fall apart while trying to flip. It's sturdy, and holds the food tightly. And the handle is plenty long enough to keep from getting hot.I should have gotten one of these years ago.
