Princeton Aqua Elite NextGen Artist Travel Brush, Series 4850 Synthetic Kolinsky Sable for Watercolor, Round, Size 8

This is a masterpiece of a travel brush light and compact it fits in my W&N cotman cases with ease. Synth sable snaps and keeps a perfect point, size 8 holds a lot of water/paint. Can't find a single negative. Just buy it, your inner artist will thank you!

Great value for the money. I took this brush on a recent cruise on the Baltic Sea. I traveled very well, and when I used it to illustrate my journal, it handled just like some of my more expensive brushes at home. I love how it collapses into its case to avoid damage while traveling and is compact. Yet, it performs as well as any other brush that I own. It keeps a very fine point unlike some travel brushes.

I have ordered the Princeton Neptune watercolor series brushes, and the Da Vinci Casaneo series. Both brands have beautiful brushes with soft bristles and a little snap. Thought I would try a different brush for travel, so I purchased the Princeton Aqua Elite size 8, and was pleasantly surprised! The brush is soft, but has more snap than the Princeton Neptune series brushes. The brushes, when capped for travel, measure about 4.1 inches, and fit into my Daniel Smith compact travel paint set cases. I think this is my new favorite brush! Definitely will purchase more in the Aqua Elite series, whether in the travel size or full size!

It's a snug fit I can probably fit a grip on the handle itself to make it a better hold cuz it's just a little metal paintbrush but I absolutely love it. I bought this very one from Hobby Lobby because Amazon didn't even send the replacement one when the first didn't arrive.
