Salty. I was so hoping these would be good because I love greens.

Vinegary, salty...not sure how best to describe it, but it's incredibly tasty. So much more satisfying than a typical can of greens.But WARNING: One can contains 735%DV of Vitamin A!!!Vitamin A is excreted more slowly than most nutrients, so if you're in the habit of eating a can of food for a quick meal (like me), limit yourself to one can of this stuff every 7-8 days to keep Vitamin A from building up in your system. I don't know much about nutrition, but 735% is a big number.Cans arrived undamaged inside a sturdy cardboard box. Seems rare to receive undented cans from Amazon, so I was very pleasantly surprised!

They were not as good as I thought they would be. They were ok. I like my greens a little more leafy.

... IF this were not at a reduced price and was eligible for free shipping, I wouldn't have even tried it. I liked that it didn't have MSG and didn't use pork as seasoning. My family is adding more vegetables to our diet as we are "eating better to live better". There was an unnatural sweet taste such that I was expecting to find Sweet Potatoes somewhere, a very unsettling feeling for me. Didn't know if this batch was inadvertantly prepared with their Sweet Potatoe product. We don't like products with hidden sugar.* (*As the commenter noted sugar IS listed in the ingredients. I should have said "unexpected sweet taste". Truthfully I was expecting similar seasoning as in Sylvia's Collard greens.)I've never been to Sylvia's Restaurants so I don't really know if this is how it's supposed to taste. I won't order this again.

These greens are the best; however, the price is $1.59 per can in the grocery. They sell out fast, so I purchased from Amazon. Almost double the price is just too much. Sold out again, but I'm just not paying this price.
