Pruner is high quality. This review is for Amazon they not sending right product, two times Amazon sent me wrong model off pruner.

I had an older model Gardena Bypass pruner (can't see the model number) that works very well even after many years of usuage except that as one gets older ( I mean the person and not the pruner) you can feel the load on your old hands when you try to tackle the thicker branches.That's why I decided to buy this Ratchet Pruner that allows me to take the thicker branches in smaller bites in a "continuous" way except that you can do it in small bites compared to my standard Gardena Bypass pruner.It has a dual modes that allows you to use it with or without the ratchet mode.Certainly a joy to use especially on the thicker branches.

The shears are very efficient. Easily cuts thick branches without effort. The blade is very sharp. The grip is comfortable.

I thought they would handle better. Poor quality.

Used these when I was visiting family in Germany and just had to get a pair for myself. Love them!
