CW Emax Mt2213 935kv 2212 Brushless Motor CW for F450 X525 Quadcopter Hexcopter(Pack of 4pcs)

Now that I've built my first quadcopter with these Emax Mt2213 motors, I can say they work great. They have lots of speed and torque and are pretty quiet too. They even survived a couple of pretty hard crashes (I'm still learning to fly). The one thing to note however is I bought these in a 4 pack and they are all, clockwise threaded. I have found that they make these same motors with an anticlockwise thread too and would have preferred a pair of each kind. If you need BOTH clockwise and anticlockwise threaded motors for your build, look around and you'll see the Emax Mt2213 935kv 2212 motors with that threading. Note, I'm using a 4S battery, OpenPilot CC3D controller, Neewer 30A Brushless ESC's and inexpensive 10x4.5" props from Cheerwing.

Awesome motors! However, I recommend buying them individually here on Amazon because they are packaged really nicely and each motor comes with two props. I wish I knew this before I ordered because when the motors arrived, they all came in a small box wrapped around in plastic and they didn't come with the propellers. Overall, they are worth the money for the quality.Note: Some comments on this set of motors claim that they are all CW. If you switch two of the wires connected to the ESC, they will reverse polarity and the motor will rotate CCW. In conclusion, all these motors are capable of rotating CW and CCW.

First review ever written. But have probably bought 150+ items RC quadcopter/ flight related over the past six months. I'm an enthusiast, expert level.These units are up there with the best I've ever used/ tested. Highly recommend. Packaged professionally, you feel like you are unboxing equipment that was designed for controlled flight.Not only do they perform marvelously, very powerful units. They are the most durable I've used. I was testing a release system to release a smaller quadcopter from my larger quadcopter, with these motors installed. Long story short, I actually inverted and thruster towards the ground at 100 feet, so powerfully that I snapped two arms off of my f450 and sent them flying 50 feet. I installed the four units involved in the crash on a cheap foldable quadcopter and I want to test the flight control board. They performed like they did right out of the box. If I could give five stars I would. And remember, I never review, I felt I must that's how pleased I am with the performance of these motors.

It was my fault that I didn't read that that this order contains ONLY 4 CW motors instead of 2CW, 2CCW motors, but the product is miss advertised and will not work for quadcopters at all. If you use this product 2 of your propellers will fly off because the rotation of the nut holding them on is the wrong direction. Besides the fact that this order is basically useless to quadcopters, 2 of the 4 motors had worn out bearings (you could hear metal rubbing when you turn the motors) before I even tried to fly it. I lost a nut trying to take off my quadcopter jut to see if it would even work, so now I cannot return it. Would not recommend for quadcopters.

The shaft is not the same diameter or threading as the stock DJI Phantom motors, so neither my self-tightening props, nore the normal props will fit, some other props are required. The original description said it included prop adapters for the counter-rotating props, and I emailed the seller to confirm, but no, all the motors are identical, no counter threading, not even the right pitch to the threading.I also had the idea to swap the upper part, maybe called the "can", the rotating portion with shaft etc, but the shaft is not exactly the same length as the stock motors, so that was a bust too.There are no instructions, or information in general to assist in determining which of the three unmarked black wires correspond to the red-black-yellow wires on the stock motors.Overall, a good price, but I'm not happy with them. Next time I will go to some online hobby shop and get the DJI brand motors.Update:you can determine the correspondence between the colored wires and the all black wires by positioning the motors side-by-side. The wires come out of the motor in the same order.on another note, before you desolder the old motors from the ESC's, I suggest marking the wall of the frame with colored sharpies or equiv. so you will always know where the original wires went.using these techniques I was able to successfully swap motors. I also managed to jam the stock propellors onto the new motor shafts, but I haven't flown it yet, and I'm not happy they don't fit securely...I would not buy these motors again for the Phantom...Final Update:I've flown with these motors and the stock props several times now, and it seems stable. Even though the props didn't seem to fit 100%, they do seem stable in the air. So with the tip for determining the motor wire correspondence to the stock motors that I provided in the previous update, I will say these can work for DJI Phantom users. I've bumped up my rating a star also. However I will re-iterate that they don't accept self-tightening props, and having had a prop spin off in mid flight causing the worst damage ever, I am still not satisfied with these motors and would not buy them again.

Good quality motors at great value!Using on skyhero quad with apm 2.6, so far great. Well balanced quiet motors.Not using any damping on fc or gopro.Fantastic results with alt hold and jello free flight!!

Nice and smooth motor, offer a little less thrust than anticipated but maybe the battery does not suffice. Built a quadcopter 450 with them, overall weight is 1.08 kg with battery, I get a nice vertical acceleration. Very happy with my purchase, currently testing the EMax micro servos.
