Much More Beautiful and Solid Than Expected
I grumbled when I bought this because I thought I should be able to get it cheaper - of course I had little experience buying doorknobs, but I thought I knew what it should cost.I wanted to match the existing crystal doorknobs in my 1929 house. This new crystal doorknob sparkles like a well cut gem and fits solidly. A dummy post uses 3 screws and would be sufficient, but the decorative ring also provides atability as it has 2 screws (some have none). The knob not only screws onto the stem, but a setcrew - larger than the old ones - makes sure turning the knob doesn't unscrew it.Now it seems well worth the money!

Great value and quality for the price
I was very happy with the Crystal French Door Knobs. They are a great value and quality for the price. They arrived on time from Amazon and were easy to install. The only complaint I would have is that the screws are little different color than the back plate, but overall I am pleased.

Beautiful knobs
I renovated an 1855 home with a modern addition and used these knobs throughout with few exceptions. They fit the modern doors which were in the home. They work and look wonderful and help to tie the look of the old and the new together. I am very pleased with these knobs. They look good and arrived fast. Cost less than half as much as some of the antique knobs I used. A definite plus.Couldn't be more pleased!
