Honey Stinger Energy Bar, Rocket Chocolate, Sports Nutrition, 1.75 Ounce (Pack of 15)

I have purchased the "Peanut Butter and Honey" versions of this bar in the past and was blown away with the good taste of them. As a result I bought 2 boxes of these energy bars. Unfortunately I could not say that I experienced the same great flavor with these chocolate flavor energy bars as I did with the Peanut Butter and Honey bars. It was a very unpleasant chalky and bitter flavor that left one with a weird after taste. So much so that I had to ask for a refund (which I rarely do on Amazon). I was surprised when this product didn't deliver because I thought "most every company does chocolate well enough." I was wrong, I think the flavor resembled dark chocolate and should have been advertised as such. Let's be clear, this is NOT to take away from what these bars are designed to do...help one reconstitute oneself when exercising, in that arena they are my favorite! In the end this is a Great energy bar, however it has a "unique chocolate" taste. (You are now in the know). :0) Happy shopping.

I love honey stinger products, particularly the energy chews, waffles, and protein bars. I thought that these energy bars would be delicious just like the other products I love. I, unfortunately, am a little disappointed with the product. I was expecting a different flavor, I guess, than what these bars provide. They leave a weird aftertaste and I just don't seem to care for them. I really wish I had loved these, but I'll stick with the peanut butta protein bars from now on!

These are my favorite bars out of the many I've tried - Promax, Tiger Milk, MET-Rx, various Power Bars, Balance Bar, etc. They're sweet enough but not too sweet to the point of tasting like candy. I think they'd sell a lot more of these if Lance Armstrong wasn't on the wrapper!

I was getting tired of Luna Bars, so I'm soooo happy I found these. Even my kids like them and I'll occasionally use them as as a snack for school or as a quick breakfast. Not quite as yummy as the peanut butter variety, but I usually buy a box of each and switch off flavors.

My son was first introduced to these at High adventure Scout Camp (Philmont, New Mexico). We purchased these for him to use as a quick breakfast on school mornings. He really enjoys them and its a quick on the go breakfast or snack.

Honey Stingers Chocolate Rocket energy bars are very good to have when you are walking through the woods stalking that elusive elk. It provides needed energy on time.

Great eneregy boost prior to a long cycling event. My wife likes them as well and thats about the sum of it..

They taste good, transport well and give that extra energy needed to complete your ride. I have tried most brands and Stingers are my favorite.
