I have been searching for the perfect diver style watch (for me) for a long time. I needed something good looking, durable, accurate, and light weight. I've bought many watches, too many, looking for the right combination. I found it in the Luminox!Several decades ago I had purchased a "Navy Seal" Luminox watch. I think it was the original model. It was good for about 3 years then the battery went dead & any replacement battery I used would only last about 9 months. Then the rubber strap broke and the replacement rubber strap I purchased broke in less than a year. In addition, most of the white paint on the rotating bezel rubbed off after 4 years. I eventually just threw it away.I was hesitant purchasing another Luminox fearing poor workmanship. The Navy Seal 3606 seems to be head and shoulders better than my original, and well it should be after 20 some years of development.I love it for its looks, the lightweight, and its accuracy. I haven't found a better looking watch in a long time. It is extremely lightweight so I hardly notice I'm wearing it. So far by my calculations it is about 1 second fast per 24 hour period which is excellent. The bezel is centered properly and has a distinctive click to it with each minute turn. It's firm but not difficult to turn.The crystal is sapphire mineral with a small magnifier (cyclops) over the date, which does not come out in the description on Amazon. The tritium lum is superb. It does not matter the lighting condition; you can always tell the time.In my attached picture you can see I switched out the orange band for a nice blue nylon NATO strap. I knew the rubber band would last (they still have a problem) and I like the fact that I can switch to my orange NATO strap easily. I buy mine from NATO Strap Company. The rubber band was easy to take off with a small tool I bought on Amazon just for this purpose.The watch is a little larger (45mm) than I'm used to especially because I have very small wrists. But, because it is so light, I don't really notice it.Will this watch be durable? Good question. Battery science has come a long way so I think that problem has been solved. I'm hoping the paint on the bezel holds up better. I did drop the watch from chest high the second day I had it and it landed partly on the bezel and partly on the crystal, on a hard tile floor, without even a scratch to the watch.One last point. My warranty is valid because the seller is an authorized Luminox dealer even though Amazon fulfilled the order. On my enclosed invoice it is clearly stated who the dealer is and the date purchased. Well done Amazon!At this point I would highly recommend this watch to anyone looking for a nice looking diver style watch. I am extremely happy with it. It will not be coming off my wrist for a long time.Update: May 2022 - My Luminox is still going strong with the original battery. It still looks great with no wear showing. It is still one of the most accurate watches I own. This was a good purchase.

This watch is everything it claims to be. Excellent in looks, weight, and function. The Tritium powder markers provide consistent night markers for all the numbers on the dial and minute, hour, and second hands. (The hour and top ‘12 o’clock’ and dive bezel markers are orange) which makes this very readable and easy to orient with no light at all. Most other similar watches require light charging to accomplish this. I love the look and feel of this watch. There are options in color that should fit most tastes. It is also rugged and works well under water. I fully recommend it and wish I had purchased a Luminox watch long ago.

This is a very sporty, lightweight, very luminous, great looking watch. I love everything about it. Can't stop looking at it when the lights are off at night. Better luminosity than my other fancy watches. It also feels non-existent on your wrist because it is so light but yet very durable. The bezel numbers are nicely subdued compared to other obnoxious diver watches that have humongous numbering. This watch is very stylish and I highly recommend buying it. You won't regret it one bit.

This is my fourth watch by Luminox. It is much lighter than other watches this size. The dial is attractive and easy to read and of course it has the tritium tubes that Luminox is known for. The rubber strap is appears to be very sturdy and has plenty of length for my 8 inch wrist. If you have never owned a Luminox, you should try at least one.

The watch face (time and date) is easy to read.

I've owned several luminox watches, they have never quit on me. it was time for a new style. I made sure the seller was actually luminox it self because I'v heard bad reviews on non authorized sellers and no warranty.so when it quit. I contacted luminox and was told to replace the battery (at my expense)a small thing but I'm done with luminox . you pay this kind of money you would expect a superior product. they were in the past.Update, 05\08\2021 watch dead again. never again will I buy a luminox.tried to return thru luminox because i bought it on amazon but from luminox as the seller . I was told by luminox that they don't warranty watches sold on amazon. $345 wasted.

Die Uhr ist top, sie hält was sie verspricht, funktioniert einwandfrei und sieht zudem gut aus.Zur Wasserdichtheit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da sie erst im Sommer im Wasser getestet wird.Sollte es diesbezgl. Kritikpunkte geben, werde ich gerne berichten.Gleiches gilt vor die Robustheit, dazu kann ich z.Z. noch keine Aussage treffen.Im Gegensatz zu einigen Renzensionen, die die Leuchtkraft im Dunkeln bemängeln kann ichnur sagen, mir reicht die Leuchtkraft gut aus, die Uhrzeit ist nachts klar erkennbar.Wenn man einen minimalen Kritikpunkt sucht, ist es die kleine Datumsanzeige, trotz Lupenglas.Aber - dieser Pkt. ist rein subjektiv.
