Sisal can't be treated with heat or the other options you would typically use on rope. Using clear shrink tubing worked brilliantly because it didnt show or stick out like a sore thumb!

Ideal for LED lighting strips - I attach LED rolls to various things, and this works great! For example, when I stick it to 1/2" wide steel slats - this slips over and shrinks down snug, ensuring the LED's won't peel off, and the connections stay waterproof.

The clear heattshrink is very tough and sturdy. I would recommend this for anyone that needs to see the work under the tubing. I used this to put LED's on a walking cane for a friend. I can see the cane very clearly and the LED's are bright. All the work is weather tight and solid.

I did need that, very good and as suggested by the manufacturer, to be keep away from heat.

It is not half inch id it is half inch wide when flat. I bought this to bind 2 wires that are 1/4 wide so side by side they are 1/2" wide by 1/4" so this should slide right over them with room to spare. I can't even force it over the ends so i have to buy another roll of a larger size.

This wasn't quite what I had in mind for what I needed, It was my fault for ordering the wrong size. I would purchase from this seller again, this time with the right measurements. :)

This is exactly what I was looking for. What I received was slightly different than what I received. It did not come in a bag as pictured, it arrived on a spool. Easy to cut, heat, and be on your way.
