Nice flavour, but it is a super strong minty taste. Its easy to put in your pocket or backpack and take with you. It’s perfect for campers, hikers or runners, as it does give a kick of energy. A bit like a really strong after eight. Nice though, and does what it’s meant for. No complaints.

Good value

As a long time user of the original Kendal mint cake for walking or running I hoped this would be a new interesting alternative, it’s fine. But it’s crumblier and drier and less tasty actually and ultimately is a bit of a rip off. Significantly more than a pound for a think fairly small bar. I will stick to the original plus electrolyte drinks

Nice to eat

i was looking for energy that wasn’t trail mix or gels. And this is the answer. great stuff easy to eat, sits well in the stomach while i run. will be ordering again

Ideal for a snack and energy boost when is was across the fells

You've got to like mint! Gives a good kick of energy, it's really just sugar, with a hint of dark chocolate. I found it helped to open my airway, a plus for me. I found that when exercising at very high intensities, threshold and above on a cycle, I couldn't eat more than a small piece otherwise it repeated on me. I think this product is best used for long steady efforts and a gels for very hard ones.

Very dry after 8 mint. Good for calories, not for flavour
