This watch is super lightweight and sleek. I wear it every day. It seems to be marketed as a fashion/utility watch and I would say that is about right. It is not as bullet-proof as say, a G-Shock, but it is fairly durable and also looks cooler IMO. The temp guage usually reads 10 Degrees higher than usual since it is on your wrist, other than that it is fairly accurate. I still have no clue what the little shell thingy in the bottom left quadrant means. It changes with each second and looks neat... I guess it is just decoration???

Very cool watch. Love the flat black color and raised dial. Most comfortable band ever. This is not a dive watch so don't treat it as such like some folks did.

I'm a Nixon collector, and I bought this for to do work in/manual labor. This thing is a tank, the rubberized case keeps the watch scuff-free. My battery lasted 3 years from the time I bought it until it needed a new battery. This thing sees a lot of abuse and it never fails.

Didn’t last long

I've owned this watch for a little over 2 years now. I've water skied, snow skied, swam, sailed, boogie boarded, worked out, done yard work, built sets and used it for every nasty thing you can think of that you don't want to wear one of your nice designer watches for. Short of a few scratches on the face/case and a couple of batteries - it still looks and runs as good as the day I bought it. Agreed, the themometer needs some time off your wrist to acclimate to ambient room temperature, but once it does it's accurate with in a couple of degrees.Greart value and style for the price. I own a couple of Nixon 51-30 Chrono watches, plus some other nice designer pieces and The Unit still gets its fair share of compliments when I dress it up.

Okay this is a tough looking watch..the band was more like a jelly band than comparable..but replaced it with a nylon James Bond type band....and It looks very nice. Should hold up quite well. Addenda 8/21/2013. Three days ago this watch just died...I am talking I was using it while running and looked down and it was dead.I contacted Nixon and have returned it...adding $20 to the price.Right now I would advise against anyone ever buying from Nixon. Looks like there is a 25 repair fee too....Update 8/29/2013 - Fedex delivered the watch on 8/22/2013, finally on 8/27 I get an email saying they have checked my watch in and will get back to me in around 10 days. And the Saga Continues.It is now 9/10/2013 - After waiting for a period of time I contacted Nixon...a very uninterested customer No service representative explained that the watch was in line to be examined and he would call back with the information. Okay....So to bring all you interested people up to date on the 'Quality" of the Nixon Watch. I have invested $100 to date for a watch that has spent more time at the manufacturer than on my wrist.....OKAY...Update 9/13/2013 - Got an email that a replacement watch will be shipped on the 18th...lets see how this goes.

Great overall watch...PROS: Very comfortable and looks great. Incredibly light.CONS: the temperature is a pointless add on. It will only tell the correct temperature if you don't have the watch on your wrist for 30+ minutes. Personally, I don't much care about getting the temperature. Lastly, I broke the watch within a month of having it. I banged it against the wall, not very hard and the screen just went crazy with 0's. I got the 2 year warranty for it and would definitely suggest doing so. I will be getting a new one in the mail soon.

I got this watch for my husband to use on shift as a firefighter. The 24 hour feature is nice for a medic and he loves that it shows the day (for example Thursday) as well as the date and month. He really enjoys the temperature feature even though he knows it's not completely accurate and it's based on body temp. He likes to see his temp after a workout or after coming out of a fire. It's more of an amusement than a tool for him. The silicone strap and water resistance is ideal for someone in the medical field that is constantly washing their hands. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase and the shipment arrived in 3 days even though it was estimated at 7. Great deal!!

Es un reloj que tiene lo que se espera, hora, temperatura, crono, segunda hora... de gran calidad.Es mate y después de 4 meses se sigue viendo nuevo porque el material es genial.No pesa absolutamente nada.

Dopo 4 anni mi sono reso conto di non aver ancora recensito questo prodotto...beh sono più che soddisfatto, oltre al design semplice ma accattivante posso confermare che i materiali sono molto buoni, ho cambiato la batteria solo 1 volta in 4 anni, mi sembra l'anno scorso; l'ho usato per lavorare ed è molto resistente.Non do 5 stelle solo per 1 motivo: l'indicatore di temperatura è totalmete sballato...

保証書がどこにあるのかわからない！使って数ヶ月で時間がリセットされる状態になり使い物にならない状態になってしまいました…保証は効くのかよくわからないです…

Exactly what I wanted. A great looking watch with very legible digits and all the features you would expect.

A bit disappointed with the surface of the watch. Because the black robber surface is peeling off.Did not meet up the worth of the price money.
