In fact, this seems written as a general dog rearing manual, with Australian Shepherd and Poodle breed facts cut-&-pasted here and there.The health problems of Aussiedoodles, for instance, are not simply a list of the issues of each of those breeds- it tends to be healthier than either, with problems diminishing through various combinations and generations. There is no discussion here of F1(b), F2(b), F3(b) or multigen. That is fundamental to Aussiedoodle and is a major omission. (Back to that question: Ultimate manual?)And one of the more urgent Aussiedoodle medical problems, MDR1, is given one sentence on p. 128. Your Aussiedoodle can have this genetic predisposition that causes life-threatening or life-altering harm from common treatments, but the matter has no prominence here.At least one of the photos in the book is found online at a website featuring comparisons of different dog breeds, as if a reminder that your dog might well be better off with you doing your own online research on Aussiedoodles rather than spending time or money on this book.

I fell in love with this hybrid breed when I saw my first one 2 months ago. We are going to purchase one when the breeder we found has a new litter next xmas.

A must book if you are planning on getting an Aussiedoodle.

Just okay book, did not provide me with any additional information that I could not find on-line
