Great Dry Erase Board
I have had a handful of white boards throughout the years and this one is by far the best.Previous brands of white boards have had issues such as not coming completely clean (even with cleaner), trim pieces falling off while it is hanging on the wall and the writing surface delaminating. This Quartet white board has a sturdier feel to it and comes clean with using just the eraser...no need for cleaners!!

Good price, good quality
I ordered 4 of these for our office, and they are great. They came undamaged and I actually got them the morning after I ordered them with standard shipping. They leave no ghosting at all, being porcelain. The only issue I had was when we were hanging them up, there are some bolts on the top edge that scratched the wall or left some kind of residue like you would expect from a pencil lead (weird I know). This seemed unavoidable, but we figured out that if you put a bit of scotch tape over the heads of the bolts before you hang them, it won't scratch the wall. Otherwise, I was able to hang each one in about 15 minutes once I got the hang of it. The top two screws need to be 68 and 5/8 inches apart, and I just put two of the L shaped brackets on the bottom to keep it sturdy. You're going to need a drill to make pilot holes in the bottom of the aluminum frame, FYI.There isn't really much else to say - they are good quality white boards at a very good price. It's just sad that some people come on this site and give products a 1 star rating because they had shipping troubles.PSA: Your experience with the shipping carrier has nothing to do with a product's quality!

Ordered 2, both came damaged
I ordered two of these whiteboards in the 6x4' size. I was attracted to the porcelain magnetic board, thinking that it would be nearly indestructible. Unfortunately, both boards came damaged. One is damaged on the writing surface, with a small divot on a side. Not enough to warrant the hassle of trying to return the thing, as it had to be shipped via truck, but enough to really annoy me considering how much money I spent on them. Both boards had slightly damaged trim around the marker tray. Further, the marker tray is not really removable, which originally I thought I was going to need, but thankfully, it works out. Both boards are backed by extremely flimsy MDF that came pre-warped from the factory. Over the 4' side of the board, there's a solid 7mm curve. While for most purposes, this probably won't present much of a problem beyond general annoyance, for the purpose that I have for these boards, it's a huge detriment. Considering how solid, substantial, and well built other porcelain magnetic boards I've owned have been, I am extremely disappointed in this purchase. My other porcelain magnetic is from staples. If I did this project again, I would have not went with quartet, that's for sure.

Mixed feeling at first
first the white board showed up over a week late, I reached out to the company I purchased it thru and it finally showed up damaged, I reached out to them again and they did make it right, so I accepted there offer and keep the board and fixed it myself. The 4' x 6' Porcelain magnet white board work great in my office space, its big enough to put everything i need it to. I would definitely purchase this board again 100%

Ghosting Happens but Still the Best You Can Get
The media could not be loaded. REVIEWThis is a review for the 4 foot X 8 foot Quartet Dry Erase Board currently selling for $299.99 on Amazon as of today, 12/23/2017. Please see the attached video. This is a high quality magnetic dry erase white board, but it does ghost until I use the EXPO cleaning spray. I use EXPO markers which are the industry standard. There have been reports in other comments that Quartet customer service has taken the position that only Quartet dry erase markers should be used. Any dry erase board that has been manufactured for only one brand of dry erase markers is a horrible dry erase board. All dry erase boards should be manufactured in such a way that they are compatible with EXPO dry erase markers. This Quartet board works fine with EXPO markers, but ghosting does occur. The Amazon product listing says "Porcelain whiteboard surface will not stain, ghost, scratch or dent" which is not accurate. The board arrived with a very slight bend, which will not be noticeable once the board is mounted. As for the other claims, the claim about not ghosting is not true. The board does ghost until I use the EXPO spray, as shown in the video. The board has so far performed similarly to a $12.97 board of the same dimensions purchased from a big box store. In my video I compare the $299.99 Quartet board with the Eucatile $12.97 board from the big box store. Long term I expect the $299.99 Quartet board to far outperform the $12.97 Eucatile board, but I have only been using these boards for less than one week. So far, performance of both boards (ghosting, cleaning, re-use) has been similar. It is worth noting that the inexpensive big box store Eucatile board is not marketed and sold as a dry erase board. Also, it is not a "finished" product and it is not magnetic. When I say that the Eucatile board is not a finished product, I mean that the edges are rough edges, there is no mounting hardware, and depending on how much time (and a little money) you want to spend, and how handy you are with tools, you (like myself) may prefer the $299 Quartet board. Please allow me to make a quick comparison:QUARTET BOARD4 Foot by 8 FootGhosting does occur.$299.99MagneticFinished edges, smooth to the touch.Comes with mounting hardware.EUCATILE BOARD4 Foot by 8 FootGhosting does occur.$12.97Not MagneticUnfinished edges, rough to the touch.Does not come with mounting hardware.INSTALLATION NOTERegarding installation, it is worth noting that I installed the Quartet board by myself in about 2 hours as I chatted on the phone with a friend and took many measurements. As for the Eucatile board, it is not installed. It would require creativity and additional hardware/wood purchases from the big box store in order to make it a "finished" product.BOTTOM LINEIf you are creative, good with tools, want to save money, and you don't care about magnetism, buy the $12.97 Eucatile board. If you're like me, buy both! Long term, I'll have a few Eucatile boards around the office but ultimately the magnetic Quartet board is much more valuable and I plan to purchase more. I believe that there is no such thing as a dry erase board that does not ghost. I believe that there will be some ghosting on all surfaces, even glass. Just keep yourself stocked with paper towels and cleaning fluid. For short term use other surfaces probably perform as well as porcelain but since I'm investing in a board for my business I figured I would go all out and would buy a porcelain board. I am banking on the hope that long term, the porcelain will not stain.

Perfect, I think
No scratches on board, showed up in perfect shape. Weighs 50 lbs so you'll need help mounting, I recommend using the included L brackets for stability. Otherwise incredibly sturdy and solid board. It's a lot more magnetically "strong" than the smaller melamine one I used previously. Will post back if I have any issues, I could see a slight tendency for ghosting vs melamine, depending on the lighting and how much you clean the board. And of course, how much that bothers you. But I'm not sure if I should be polishing it or caring for it differently, vs the melamine I simply ignored and erased as necessary.

So far so good
This is the 2nd one we've no purchased for the office. The caps on the end of the marker tray tend to break fairly easily, but can be put back on if you're handy enough. Will probably continue to order next time we need this size again.

Absolutely Aweful
This Whiteboard does not erase properly even when using the manufacturers own dry erase markers. Amazon refuses to take it back even though it does not say anywhere on the listing that it is not a returnable item. BUYER BEWARE. When I tried to point this out to customer service, the representative hung up on me.

Going great 2 months after purchase
Have had this for a couple of months. Has met our needs in the office. Very heavy and awkward to hang by yourself

Great board, very slight ghosting
Great board. Agree with other reviewers that packaging is not great bit mine came in good shape. Disagree with reviews saying that it does not hang well. Just put on the bottom brackets and it will be solid as can be. There is very small level of ghosting, but not to the point of mattering.Overall, very pleased, love being able to respond to that creative outburst right away. I will even walk down the hall from the bedroom during the night to capture that idea that hit at 2:36 am.
