I cant say enough good things about this backpacking meal. I am tired of the pastas and other meatless dried things. So refreshing to have a better choice from Heather's Choice pantry.

Easy to fix over the campfire. Hearty and delicious!!

Long rehydrating time, 20+ minutes, taste was good, but needed something to go with it, like crackers or bread. A little spicy for me, but I consider black pepper to be spicy, so most people would not find this product spicy. My main concern was the digestive issues that came 24 hrs after eating this product, when the product departed my body... I am thankful I was not still on the trail, as it would have been calamatous.

My husband and I camp a lot so we eat a lot of backpacking food. I wanted to like this brand so badly but the flavor just wasn’t there. We only had the apple pie breakfast and grass fed bison chili and we couldn’t even finish them. For the price I am very disappointed. Pack it Gourmet is much better tasting for a similar price plus has much larger variety.
