Firstly, I wasn't paid nor did I get this for free. Secondly, everything here is my opinion, nothing more. Also please note I've been using this for about a month now, so that I could write an informed opinion.============== SHORT VERSION==============Great:- outstanding battery life on the parent unit- super simple setup (works out of the box)- screen is fantastic- pan, tilt and zoom all work great- sound pickup is excellent- menu operation is clear and simple- wire lengths (3m for camera and 1.5m for parent unit)- supports multiple cameras from one parent unit (see note later)- huge range- temperature monitor and time displayed on parent unit (no other one actually displays the time!)Not so great:- kickstand is a tad uneven, not flimsy but unit can still tilt when kickstand is down- no WiFi, meaning no smartphone app. This is irrelevant to me but for those who love their lives on their phone, this may be an issue============== LONG VERSION==============I have been searching for the "perfect" baby monitor for almost 4 years, and have been through dozens (all at my own cost) for various reasons - product failure, features not working as advertised, poor quality and so on. My "reference" monitor was a Philips Avent 630SC - whilst it wasn't a huge HD screen, the sound pickup is fantastic, responsiveness is great, and after 3 years the parent unit still holds a decent charge. I then needed a second monitor, but the Philips doesn't support multiple cameras so my search began. I've used cameras from BabyMoov, Infant Optics, Philips, generic no name ones and they all had dealbreaking flaws.Since then, a list of problems with other units I tried:- poor camera quality- useless sound pickup (from less than 6 feet away the camera couldn't alert for a screaming child)- parent unit battery being unable to hold a charge 2 months after first use, so needed to be constantly plugged in- short leads (seriously, 1m for the camera unit is not acceptable - not all baby beds are next to plug sockets)- useless or no kickstand on parent unit- abysmal range- interference problems (signal constantly cutting out and reconnecting)The Eufy has eliminated pretty much every major flaw from its competitor products and produced something here that, for me, sets the standard for baby monitors.The picture is flawless, in day or night. The parent unit has a huge screen compared to most rivals and the quality is good, The unit is sturdily built (minus the kickstand), and has already withstood some drops and "playtime" from our toddler. Battery life for the parent unit is excellent - at least 12 hours on a full charge, even with the screen on all the time. When sleep mode is on (screen powers off after a set interval, and will come back on when the sound exceeds a user defined threshold) you can get 2 nights' worth of monitoring. The menus on it are easy to navigate and all the options are clear. The unit also displays the time - something you probably would like to know when you're woken in the middle of the night... but no other baby unit at the moment actually shows it. Temperature display is a nice bonus too - showing the temperature of the room the camera is in (not where the monitor is).The camera is solidly built and doesn't have a "earbud" type microphone hanging off the side of it (those types seem to be the worst for sound pickup). The panning feature of the camera goes more than double what the Infant Optics did - really handy if you have wriggly sleeper. It's unobtrusive and has a nice design, even if it's not "kiddified" to blend in with a kid's room. It comes with a mounting shelf (a small triangle with mounting screws and a notch for clipping the camera on) which is a nice touch.Finally, the charging leads have clearly been thought about - a generous 3m for the camera and 1.5m for the monitor. Neither use a "special" micro USB lead meaning if you lose the charger it won't be the end of the world.Like I said at the beginning, this has been (so far) the best baby monitor I have ever used. I'm eagerly awaiting the additional camera to be released in the UK so I can test out that part of it, but right now I don't think there's another product on the market that will tick as many boxes as this. Yes it's in the upper price bracket of baby monitors; I've gone more expensive, I've gone cheaper (cheaper is always noticeably worse). But this is worth every penny.

Really happy with this baby monitor. We got so sick and tired of our Arlo baby monitor app crashing on us in the middle of the night! This has been a life saver and way better ! Wish we had known about this monitor and purchased this to begin with.Love the packaging it came in, it was easy to setup, the quality of the video wasn’t AS good the Arlo baby but it’s way better, if not - the best in comparison to other non-wifi baby monitors.We love the handheld display, compact, not bulky or complicated, and love the screen size, the sound is pretty loud and definitely had no issues hearing our baby during the night. I love that you can turn off the display and hear sound still if you wanted. Quality of the product is really good, sturdy and modern sleek design.Our house is three floors and our wifi signal is pretty dodgy in parts of our house, even with a range extender. So we were a bit worried whether the signal range on this monitor would be an issue- NOPE! it works perfectly in every single corner of our three story house, which is very impressive, and no lag!My only wish was that the zoom function was better. You need to go into the menu and select zoom x 1, zoom x2 which can be a bit annoying. We just don’t really use the zoom because of that.Best part is we could use this monitor when we travel, which we are pretty excited about. Whether going to someone’s house or visiting family abroad etc.No issues with temperature on display as other reviewers had.Overall great product, would highly recommend.

It has a long range, great video and audio quality and something very important... Zero video and audio Lag :-) !!I can tell you, that i know a lot of baby monitor, but this eufy it is really one of the best....It is almost perfect, but in my honest opinion, there are some hardware upgrade that anker could make to turn this a perfect product!for example: Upgrade to an amoled display it would be nice to turn this great video monitor in an absolute, perfect quality image!Another example: it would be nice to have a dedicated button zoom image.Using this monitor in outdoor light, it is not good enough... it should have more nits! like I said... An amoled display with a great nits illumination...and finally, why not a camera with some battery?Sound... Amber, try to put an auto mute when the camera do not detect any sound.... because in an upper volume, it is annoying to listen some "white noise"Congratulations Anker, it is still a great product!I hope you can considerate...thank you09 Mar 2020:Now, after 8 months of daily use, I did not have any problem, any issues with this baby monitor, it works great! never fail! Really happy with the battery, Range signal, Sound and image quality and a great night vision quality too... It is so good that i already bought another one to my little daughter :-) You can use 4 cameras per monitor unit but my wife doesn't like to see just one baby, she doesn't like the cicle image so I had to bought another one with the monitor... so it is another idea for Anker, why not to split image and see 2 baby at same time in the monitor? can you create that option in a future version?Thank you!Like already said, an oled display, a dedicated button zoom image and a battery in the camera and this will be the 100% perfect baby monitor in my humble opinion!But at all, I can say again, it is the best baby monitor you can buy!28 Set 2020Just to say, works every all night and some times during the day and it is still working without any issues, bugs... not any problem :-). We already have another baby and....
