switched from a full-back seat hammock style cover to this as i need to use the passenger seat for a trip next month. My dog loves it! He used to whine a lot in the other style, but is much quieter in this version. I think the smaller size makes him feel safer, and it's definitely easier to clean out with the removable bottom piece. The seat belt that's included doesn't feel like it would protect my dog much in an accident though (it's elasticated) so I have cut a small hole in the side netting to allow my other doggy seat belt, which connects to his harness, to fit through and be used.

Got this as our dog is not too keen on car journeys. We wanted something which would protect him from falling forward when the car breaks. Before this he took a while to settle on journeys and always looked nervous, first time of using this he curled up into a little ball. I did cut through a hole in the bottom corner though as I wanted his harness securely clipped in so I could thread his seat belt clip through - there is a clip attached to the back which could be used though. 5* very happy. He didn't fall at all, looks safe and we feel better now he seems more calm too :) it helps that he can see out of the side netting.

Strong and sturdy.Takes us just a little more than a single seat so ideally only one person can sit in back without been squashed up.Keeps dog safe.Easy clean. I quickly hovered the bottom and dog hair came straight off.Better if its put on back passengers seat.If you push front seat back there is lest pull on fabric and it gives more of a safety box you your dog. Not for front seat!!Easy to put in and take out. Few clicks and your ready to go.When not in use it can be taken out and put in the carry back for easy storage.Only thing is if your dog sheds hair like mine you still get hair come through the side due to mesh. Not as much as when there is no seat.I had one that covered full back seat but my dog seems alot happier in this. Plus my daughter can sit with her.

Bought two of these, one for our Shih Tzu and one for our french bulldog. They are absolutely fantastic. Both dogs love them and importantly stay calm during journeys. The best thing is that they are sturdy and due to the plastic inserts remain rigid in the car. The see through sides also mean they can see each other. The only negative I would have is that the attached straps for fastening onto your dogs harness are very flimsy and keep coming loose and our Shih Tzu keeps wrapping it around his neck. we will just go back to use it normal headrest restraints.

Quality product and sturdy, easy to assemble and secure giving peace of mind on every journey. Would recommend for safety and practical transfer.

I was abit worried about this as my frenchie is quit big so wasnt sure if we would fit in it but its perfect loads of room for him to turn around / sleep comfortably and he is attached to a lead that comes with the seat so he is safe while we are travelling. Easy to put in car and take out.. nice size so when im not using it its kept in the boot of the car. Defo recommend to anyone with dogs ooo and yes easy to keep clean.

This dog car seat is great! We were using a different one but this one is so much better. Our border terrier loves it as he feels safe inside this car seat. It's also got the high sides that have small holes in which means the air can circulate through.It is sturdy and safe as it attaches onto the front and back headrest which means the car seat cannot move forward if needing to break harder than usual.We would defintely recommend.

Good for a puppy but not good for larger dogs or adult dogsthe zip sides are easy for the dog to split apart and the lead attachment is far to long even on the shortest setting.It does the job ok and was great for our cocker spaniel puppy but we'll probably go for a full seat cover as soon as she outgrows this
