Natco Kalwanji ( Onion Seeds ) 100g

I bought these expecting ONION seed ...you know the the seeds you get from an onion ..small black ..smell& taste of onion & should you plant then you grow onions These are the seed the Nigella flower ... Nigella is a member of the buttercup family it has white or blue flowers & feathery leaves and its tiny black seeds are found in a head similar to a poppy head. They are also known as black cumin and are often confused with onion seeds and although similar are not the same. I will use these in Indian cooking & as they are such pretty flowers I will sow some in the garden as well BUT they are NOT ONION seeds !!!!!!!!!!

Kalwanji can be difficult to find but this is enough kalwanji to last for ages, even if you are a heavy user. The price was excellent and delivery was very quick.
