Aquarium Magnet Cleaner w/Algae Scraper Magnetic Brush (Small)

This is aquarium glass cleaner #3. The other two (different types) have worn. Regardless, neither of them seemed to have the magnet strength of this one. I was able to clean the front glass very quickly. This will make my water changes much quicker. Did I mention it floats? Not that I needed it to float since it stuck so well. AND it was a great price!

Cleared the thick layer of algea on my forty gallon breeder tank in less than five minutes. Easily transfers from the front to the sides, holds tight to the glass and even gets in the corners. I got the medium and it's a little more than I need for that tank. It was a great price and I'm glad I went with this company.

I ordered the small, and it is way bigger than I expected. Great magnetism. Takes algea off with a breeze on both glass and acrylics.

Do not buy this product. I've had refrigerators magnets with more pull than this. They should not sell this item as any kind cleaning tool. It would not hold my son's school work to fridge door and definitely will not clean an aquarium. Im going to try and return it but do not buy this item, it will let you down.

This thing works pretty good but I think the magnet could be a little bit stronger. But I also have a big 150 gallon tank and the glass is really thick. If you move too fast it starts jumping around. The scraper is pretty nice as well. Didn’t take long to clean the glass. The pad that cleans the glass is just the rough side of some Velcro so it’s pretty abrasive. Only used it once so far so we’ll see what it does to the glass. Also, the piece that goes inside the tank floats so if you lose it it’ll just float to the top. I got the large one and it’s pretty big

I have used a smaller aquarium magnet like this with success for a 10 gallon tank but when I upgraded to a 40 gallon tank I bought this, boy what a mistake! After I started to clean my tank I saw what I first thought was large scratches on my glass tank but realized were streaks of thick gummy stuff. I saw that the thin felt-like material was peeling off and the glue that attached it was streaked all over the front of my new tank! I had to remove it with goo gone and then soap that off, I can’t imagine what I would have had to do if the streaks had been on the inside of the tank! So this was a waste of my time and money. Don’t waste yours!

The small size worked well for my 10 gallon tank. I was able to quickly clean the algae off all the sides, but it did 'stir up' the water quite a bit (to be expected, settled and cleared pretty quickly.) For those wondering, the cleaning pad appears to be the hook or rough side of velcro!

After looking around and reading reviews I found this tank cleaner. I bought the large cleaner. It shipping was fast and arrived when stated. I tried it out on my 55 gal tank and it worked ! ! I was taken back on the power of the magnet. I highly recommend this aquarium cleaner for the price and the fast shipping from this seller.
