Great for occasional use!
Good for occasional use. I wouldn't leave them on my car indefinitley. Nothing near the quality of the big names like Yakima and thule. But if you use/need roof racks occasionally then they are a great buy at a fraction of the price. They are quick and easy to put on / remove. They are sturdy and secure. I had no fear transporting my big heavy 9'6" longboard at freeway speeds for a 100 mile+ trip. I wouldn't leave them on my car out of fear that rubber components will crack and dry out and moving parts inside the clamps will corrode / rust and compromise the safety / capacity of the racks. Put em on when you need em, store em when not in use. Light weight and one person can install and remove.

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!!!!
A Allen Head bolt threads through a steel hex nut that is held in place by a PLASTIC BLOCK. The plastic block eventuallystrips and the nut just spins and will neither loosen or tighten the rack.Very crappy ( and I mean crappy) design. would not recommend buying.

Flimsy
This was the second set sent to me, first set broke during installation trying to get them on tight enough note to move!!! This set flew off while driving at only forty five mph. Total crap!!!

These things look good but the clamps are f***ing junk. Ordered one set, broke a clamp one the first use. Ordered another set, switched out the clamps and broke it again. It actually stripped out the tension nut

Waste of time and money
Even though I had my correct car listed, they arrived today and are waaaaaay to wide for the car. Amazon says that they’ll fit but no way. Don’t waste your time on these. They won’t fit. Got suckered in by the price. Too good to be true

Read directions not so easy. Drove accross country and it was used under hard weather. Help up great. But needed extra support to hold down.

If you are looking for a universal crossbar, this is what you need. The quality looks pretty good. I put a cargo box on the top which weighs 150 lbs and it looks pretty stable.
