Very very pleased with this backdrop. I bought it to take my daughters first birthday pictures. I was so happy with the quality of the backdrop that I bought the same one in a different color a year later for her 2nd birthday. The backdrop is very nice, not see through and true to color. It’s washable and I put mine in the dryer on the dewrinkle function when I first got it to get any wrinkles or creases out and it worked like a charm. Highly recommend

Absolutely love this! I’ve ordered a few different backdrops and thought I’d try the cloth. I highly recommend over vinyl printed ones. At first you get it and it’s wrinkled ...that’s obvious...This cloth needs high heat to get wrinkles out- just throw in dryer for 10 min on high and it will come out perfect! The grey is so versatile

If you are thinking that this microfiber backdrop will be an exact replacement for seamless paper, you should not buy this backdrop. It is still textured enough that you can see varying shades of light and dark. Having said that, these are fantastic backdrops just like the rest of the katebackdrop line. I have them in many, many styles and use them multiple times per week as part of my photo business. If you need something to be perfectly clear and have consistent color from top to bottom and side to side, you should use seamless paper. If you want color and texture. Than these backdrops are the way to go.

The fabric is extremely light, not even close to the pink that shown in the picture, it's almost white with an extremely light tint of pink. I bought it based on others peoples pictures with it, and in their pictures it's the same color pink advertised so I'm not really sure what's up with that. Either they are inconsistent with the pink that they send to people or it has something to do with lighting and editing. I bought this for a "do it myself maternity shoot" since I cant go to a professional because of covid. I am an amateur photographer with amateur editing skills, so this backdrop may be more accurately represented with someone who knows how to set up a professional shoot. Its comes very wrinkly, I used an iron for the wrinkles and basically just edited out any wrinkles the iron couldn't get (which was a lot), next time I'll just throw it in the dryer. When editing, the pink still didn't show up, no matter what editing I did to the color, I basically had to add the pink to it myself (but again I'm an amateur so it may not be an issue for a professional). Despite the lack of pink and the annoying wrinkles I'm still giving this a 4 star rather than a 3star because I do think with more photography practice I could get it to look how it looks advertised. And the backdrop still got the job done. I basically ended up using as a green screen when editing because the color is almost white I could basically make the background whatever color I wanted which gave me some cool affects. I bought this because the Savage seamless I ordered wasn't going to show up in time. Overall, I'd say I was pleased with it. The one thing that was a bit frustrating was it's the type of fabric that when brushed one way with the hand looks different than when brushed the opposite way. So a bit of a pain to make it look cohesive, but nothing a little photoshop couldn't fix.

Yesssss!!! What an awesome backdrop.. I wasn't able to get the wrinkles out until I used a steamer... now they are all gone. The color is just like in the photo... awesome!! It truly brings all my photos and videos to life.Love it!!

I have a lot of Kate Backdrops unfortunately this is the first one that has a problem.There is a WHITE SPOT from where the material may not have been dyed.This may not be a big thing to some but for me it is because this is a solid true vibrant Baby Blue. So any spots may ruin a picture. But I decided to use it sideways which hides the spot.I would have exchanged it for another one because this was not 15 dollars but 32. But I needed for a upcoming photoshoot. Amazon has been letting me down lately but I still LOVE PRIME! PRIME makes everything better!

Loved the light color it didn't overwhelm the set up. Popped it in the dryer at home then took it to the studio hung it up clamped it down and no wrinkles So easy to wash and care for. Love all my Kate backdrops!

I love amazon, but honestly... it can be a hit or a miss with some of the products they offer. and not all products available on amazon are legit or they're knock offs of other brands claiming to be the real thing. that being said, I'm sure this is sold by the actual company however the cotton material looks awful on video/pictures. its difficult to steam/iron out, and its too pale - nothing like the photo. the colour intensity just isn't there. will be returning it.

Too shiny for our purposes. Easy enough to use but does not give the grey background we want in photos. And if you’re getting the protection plan, asking for refund requires « returning » it...

Very unhappy with this. The texture of the fabric gets the most annoying streaks and marks all over which shows in the pictures. It also shines way too much. I wouldn't recommend and I wish I'd tried it as soon as I received it so I could have returned it. Now I'm stuck with this background I can't use and it cost me over 50$!!! Put your money somewhere else!

It is not as pink as the picture. The fabric is like a nubuck/suede material. It’s very reflective. Wrinkles are hard to come out. The first picture is without light. The second is with light.

Too shiny/reflective. Also, the microfiber shows streaks and marks - totally unusable. I have several other Kate microfiber backdrops with various patterns/colors and they are great. This solid grey backdrop is unusable for my use. Too bad :(.
